Can anyone advise what sort of swimming goggles I need. recently diagnosed with glaucoma and awaiting treatment. In the meantime my current pre glaucoma prescription for short sightedness is uncomfortable and socks too close to my eyes. Swimming is a form of low pressure exercise I can still do to keep my spirits up.

swimming goggles for glaucoma

if you need prescription goggles then I have found the Sutton Swimwear reef mask the best. If you don’t need a prescription then just go for the largest goggle/reef mask you can find, the small really tight ones put pressure on your eyes. Aquasphere do good ones.
Hi again Sparr0w-hawk,I was told to avoid goggles altogether but apparently a snorkel mask is ok.
Hi Bonniecat7
Right now I'm using swim goggles as I haven't had anything done to my eyes yet..I have to wait until I know what I should do. I try to wear them loosely and careful when putting them on.
Still I'm looking for wide lense prescription swim goggles which are very hard to come by. I suppose I could use my prescription mask but they are large and cumbersome in the pool.
Thanks
