Good News…..
Meanwhile I discovered that around August the 1st , I had been on 5-7.5 mg bisoprolol in July, I was increased to 10-12.5 mg in prep for a
surgery
. The pharmacy or
surgery
increased my tablets to 5mg instead of 2.5mg. This meant that I was taking 20-25mg of bisop per day.

Advice - cysts and TTC
I had
surgery
last June where they found stage 4 endo. I had 2 large chocolate cysts one on my left around 8cm and the one on my right 10cm. The
surgery
wasn’t done in a endo centre which now I realise probably should have. He didn’t remove all the right cyst due to bowel involvement.

Aortic valve replacement
Good morning , I’m now on the waiting list at Papworth for
surgery
following my latest echo and review with my cardiologist. I note from his letter to the hospital that he has recommended a valve replacement with LAA exclusion .

Glaucoma dvla test
I've had one lot of bilateral selective laser
surgery
back in 2017.I've recently had a new doctor and he has decided it's time to inform the dvla although my tests have been fine. I'm getting another bilateral laser op. However, I have informed dvla.

Stabbing headache.. GCA? Update
I phoned the
surgery
and had a call back from the "advanced practitioner" within 15 minutes. She asked all the right questions and arranged an appointment with my GP for 2 hours later. GP is of the opinion that I have a trapped nerve.

Family struggles and my mental health
I am also having
surgery
during the holidays. I don't want to go back home. Living with my family is not safe for me. I need to feel like I can get through living with them for those few weeks without engaging in bad coping skills.

Had my first laparoscopy yesterday! Still so confused!?
My question is I have had nobody go through what happened really (I had a trainee nurse with me who was supposed to be going through everything that happened and showing me notes/pics etc) but when I came round from
surgery
I was taken to a different department and unable to see her.

Foraminotomy
I could be looking at this
surgery
once injections have been exhausted. Would be interested in hearing from people about how they found it, did it work, and crucially what was your post op experience like, pain levels, time to recover? Thank you in advance.

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Well, made contact with
surgery
( I was 10th in the queue ) couldn't talk to anyone ( GP or Pharmacist ). Left a message and a return phone call a few hours later told me to take 2 blood pressure readings am and pm. for the next 7 days. Excellent stalling practice !

Biopsy prior lap
I do not know maybe you all will think I am crazy or acting foolishly but I am so terrified of this
surgery
that I think I am going to die, I started not to make any plans post operation as I do not know if I will survive. It is my first
surgery
and it seems something so so terrifying.

Not a UTI
The triage nurse at my
surgery
informed me that although it showed no infection there were in fact microscopic traces of blood in there, (which would be expected with an infection but not expected without one) and would need investigation.

Recent thyroid blood tests results are different ?
I usually have low TSH results as I am taking Armour natural desiccated thyroid (NDT) but this time the results from the
surgery
show serum TSH level (XaELV) as 16.8miu/L (0.34-5.6) - speaking to GP on Thursday any advice ?

B1 and FUS reduced 95% of my Parkinson
In March 2018 I started the B1 high dose (1000 mg per day) and the last year , in Aug 2023, I had a FUS
surgery
in Switzerland, performed by dr. Marc Gallay at the Sonimodul clinic. I can say now that 95 % of my symptoms are gone (just a RH weak tremor when I'm nervous).

Blood Test Results.
Eventually went to the
surgery
on Wednesday and they said they didn't have it - I went to the
surgery
in town as that's where I was - presumed they would just have to look it up. No had to go to the
surgery
in our village as that's where I am registered !
