PSA level from 4 (Dec 2023) to 22 (present)
He tested a level of 4 PSA back in Dec 2023; the doctor did not say much except try to keep your
stress
level down, etc. He felt things were feeling quite abnormal so went back to doctor April this year and tested a level of 8 PSA so he was finally referred to a specialist.

Also there is still major family
stress
. I don’t have a rheumatologist right now. My GP has been providing my pred. She won’t be happy if I increase on my own. Could this be something else other than GCA? Minor stroke? Shoud I increase my pred?

Actemra and diverticulitis- a link?
I’ve been on Actemra for about 6 months, am still on 17.5 prednisolone and have had to increase to 20 or 25 several times for flares,
stress
etc, so it doesn’t seem to be helping to save the steroids.

positive fit test
My bowel movements have gone back to normal in fact the best in a long time , I sometimes wish I hadn’t have done the fit test now because the
stress
this is causing me is unbearable, I don’t drink or smoke stay active and eat healthy, there’s no BC in my family .

Living a lie?
It was partly due to
stress
and anxiety with my job, I was running a company, working machines, doing office work, answering the phone, doing emails at home. Since then I’ve reduced my hours to 3 days a week, 8 hours a day in the office. I was working 60 hours plus before.

will you be the same again
You may be the same again. You will recover but you will always some type of setback and post PTSD. Hopefully you don’t not everyone does. Lots of luck to you.

What if it is something else?
The added
stress
of the burden I am to the team or the potential to lose my job is definitely not helping.

PMR again ?
I have developed stiffness and aching in hips down to knees and am wondering whether the PMR has come again due to
stress
. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 11th October and am currently on Letrozole to (hopefully !) shrink the tumour before lumpectomy.

Stress
is not a trigger for me, I personally think it’s maybe food related, however, not had anything unusual. My question is, do I do as much as I can physically (I get short of breath in Afib) or do I rest?

Ablation or not? I really don't know what to do
caught out somewhere having a huge afib episode, EPs want me to have an ablation, I am so confused, I don't know what to do...I have had maybe three episodes of afib after migraine and vomiting, with or without alcohol in the picture, migraines seem to happen on an electrolyte imbalance or physical

ET and work!
I dont want to sound like I dont want to work but sometimes I am getting lost because of fatigue and worry and
stress
. I think that definitely is not good situation for my illness. Any of you work half time jobs or applied for some kind of disability? How are you managing your disease and your job?

Abusive, disorganized boss causing my work output to suffer.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone has advice on how to handle all the
stress
. I've been crying a lot. Also, if anyone has similar stories/has dealt with this in the past, I'd love to hear. I guess I just want to not feel alone.

Daily question reminder
We often deal with so much drama and
stress
in our daily lives having this disease that we often forget that living life is what we all need to strive to do. As I've said before we are not PBC. PBC does not define us.

Rest when you need to
Normal activities for everyone else, preparing for Christmas or the
stress
of getting ready to go on Holiday. It will floor me, and I'll need a couple of days in bed sleeping. Don't feel guilty you can't keep up with everyone else. Just take the rest and then carry on when you are rested.

So here I am again stressed out about so many things my health and my inability to.Process and not
stress
out. I have been trying to reach my doctors for the last week and no one has returned my call. I am afraid and I have no one to talk to. Sometimes. I think I'm just gonna lose my mind.
