Was talking to my health coach about these and she just had a speaker talk about it. Here's part of the transcript she provided me. It clarifies the difference between PC and choline a bit.

The foregoing is a feel good fantasy. The TMA/ TMAO problem is very real and I have personally experienced it with PC. If you're going to supplement you should also take berberine at the same time to suppress the formation of TMA by gut bacteria.

There is a blood test for TMAO which is a marker for TMA

Just wondering what type of diet would you eat considering potential TMAO elevation with meat, eggs, dairy, saturated fats,etc.

In my experience choline supplementation is a problem because it creates a concentrated island of choline in the gut. I do eat a single egg for breakfast, in combination with other food ingredients, from time to time. As far as I know that's not caused any problem. I stay away from red meat and dairy for other reasons. Bear diet: nuts, berries and salmon.
