You may be the same again. You will recover but you will always some type of setback and post PTSD. Hopefully you don’t not everyone does. Lots of luck to you.

An interesting thing is that many health care professionals now refer to PTSD as ‘PTS’ - the term ‘disorder’ was felt to be incorrect and stigmatising.

I certainly had PTS & ICU left me disordered 😊

Never meant for it to be stigmatized or incorrect. Same here I was in CCU and I do have PTSD.

I try to look at the positives, I have no inhibitions, my brain doesn’t control my mouth and my sense of humour is no longer wicked but evil
