Cataract surgery post Trabeculectomy
Had a trab 6 months ago and the blurry vision never disappeared. Now they want to do cataract surgery and I am hesitant as it may fail the trab surgery that was already done successfully. Has anybody had an experience with the blurry eye after surgery or pls share your experience with cataract surgery

T3/T4 HRT Meds before surgery?
Hello lovely people, i hope everyone is managing to catch up on the long overdue sun ;) Sadly, my gynaecologist has found an ovarian tumour which needs to be removed and biopsied. Recovery from this will take between 6-8 weeks. I am in really good health otherwise but do take 150mg Levo and 45mg Liothyronine

Experience with different Viagra / Cialis Regimens For Moderate ED?
1.5+ years post bi-lateral nerve sparing prostatectomy (well not 100% nerve sparing) my EF is probably and 8.5 where it was a 10 prior to surgery. If I'm really in the mood with a ton of physical (and visual) stimulation I can barely get to the point of penetration without drugs. So 80% of the time

1 year post diagnosis
I am a 54 yo male living in Vegas, I found out I was Jak2 positive last year, looked at labs before doctor and freaked. I have been having slightly higher RBC and Platelets for around 6-7 years. I used to donate blood pretty regularly and took testosterone, so the doctors kinda ignored it. I was a paramedic

Vocal chord damage in thyroidectomy
Hi all, I had a total Thyroidectomy 2 days ago which was a difficult op. My thyroid had grown so large it was pressing on my larynx, growing downwards to my chest, and growing round the back of my oesophagus. In previous surgery for breast cancer 2 years ago they were unable to get the breathing tube

Returning Endometriosis with a vengeance!
So approximately two years ago I had surgery for severe endometriosis. It didnāt particularly help with the pain as I also have adenomyosis, but I was just about managing. The NHS havenāt been very helpful as I have been waiting for nearly two years for the mirena coil. I took matters into my own hands

Facing thyroid surgery?
Have you been told that you're hyperthyroid, and / or been told that you need to have your thyroid removed ā but you're not convinced because your symptoms don't seem to match the diagnosis? That's exactly where I was nine years ago ā and I want to urge you to follow your instincts ! To put it simply

weight & DOACs
I have just had a review at GP surgery with clinical pharmacist and he informed me Edoxaban isnāt effective if weight over 120kg. Apixiban and rivaroxiban are however, both of which I didnāt get on with. I am on a weight loss programme so hopefully will soon be under that weight but this was never mentioned

Reassurance for laparoscopy excision surgery
I'm just after a bit of reassurance really. I'm under an endo specialist and I've booked in for excision surgery in August, but I so scared that they're not going to find anything. I've already been told there is an endometrioma on one of my ovaries and 'normal' cysts on the other. My ovaries however

Prednisone vs Acterma with steroid induced diabetes. Really terrified
Update: April 2024 was scheduled for eye surgery for Strabismus which was canceled days before when in the same week I was determined by my Endocrinologist to have steroid induced diabetes which makes the general anesthesia too risky at this point. Rescheduled for August tentatively while we work on
