1.5+ years post bi-lateral nerve sparing prostatectomy (well not 100% nerve sparing) my EF is probably and 8.5 where it was a 10 prior to surgery. If I'm really in the mood with a ton of physical (and visual) stimulation I can barely get to the point of penetration without drugs. So 80% of the time I need a little help.
It seems like 5mg Cialis gets me over the hump in most cases but not all depending on the particular situation and how long ago I took it (12 hours versus 2 hours). I also have a prescrip for 100 mg Viagra. I only asked for that dose so I could split into halves or quarters to have dose flexibility with lowest cost. I once, while not on Cialis gave wanted to see what the side effects were like for a 100mg. Never again. No erectile problems but it wreaked havoc on my sinuses. HUGE RUNNY SINUS HEADACHE. Felt like I had a hay fever attack sneezing and just miserable. At 50mg those side effects are there but barely. Strangely I don't get any side effects on 5 mg daily Cialis (which I know is a low dose but it is indeed daily)
Unfortunately sex isn't a big focus anymore in my relationship so it's sort of a waste of money to take Cialis daily.
I'm 190 lbs. I know everyone can be different but I'm curious of anecdotal reports of those that are sort of around that 8/10 erectile function a year+ post prostatectomu. What doses and or combinations/strategies have you to work best with least side effects?

10mg of Tadalafil works excellent for me. Sometimes I don't even need it. I had a bit of ED before PC/Surgery and had used Sildenafil exclusively but I do favor Tadalafil.
I just started it and read never take more than 20mg. My MO prescribed 10 and I started with 5. Seems to be working already after day 1. I decided to take it for better circulation , and to stop atrophy of my little tree which is always down.
Same as you, i have a lot of side effects taking any PDE2 inhibitor. I tried them all, different dosage. I got even my ear blocked and it is still risky to have it blocked when i take one of those pill. So i decided to take only on demand, because i m not sure that it works taking every day an inhibtor of an enzym. Does the body not react and produce more PDE5 ? and once you stop just nothing works because your body is plenty of PDE5 and you have to wait a couple of days until the concentration of PDE5 goes down naturally? That is why i keep the pill for the occasion of... To me the one with less side effect is Levitra.
I have never heard of 100 MG of Cilais. 20 MG is standard. Taking over that does not work better. Go dwon to 20MG. I take 5MG a day with no side effects except it keeps my boy in shape. When I take 20, I get dizzy for a bit buy goes away.
I tried Cialis first, but it caused my tinnitus to grow significantly louder. It was effective though. After a break, I decided to try viagra and started with 1/2 of a 25 mg dose. Particularly on an empty stomach, it’s effective and fast (20-30 minutes). I may try the other inhibitions but for now I like the quick processing of viagra. The primary side effect I notice is a bit of feeling a bit flush
Given your experience and weight, others in a similar situation have found success with a combination of lower doses of Cialis and Viagra. Some take a lower dose of daily Cialis (2.5mg to 5mg) to maintain a baseline level of readiness, supplementing with a small dose of Viagra (25mg to 50mg) on days they anticipate needing extra support. This strategy helps minimize side effects while ensuring effectiveness. Others have also found that focusing on overall health, such as regular exercise and a balanced diet, can improve erectile function and reduce reliance on medication. If taking 5mg of Cialis daily feels wasteful, you might try reducing the dose to 2.5mg daily. This can still provide a baseline level of support with fewer costs and potentially fewer side effects. Use Cialis only from reliable sources, for example, I bought from health-delivery24.com/buy-c... and was pleased with the quality and price, recommend.
Keep experimenting with what works best for you, and perhaps discuss these strategies with your doctor to tailor a plan that suits your needs without unnecessary side effects or costs.
