Hi lovely ladies. I had multiple hernia repair 9 weeks ago. Major surgery and in hospital for a week. Much worse than debulking surgery. I have what I feel is ascites, huge abdomen looking 7 months pregnant. I have consultant follow up tomorrow after being cancelled twice. Just a bit worried what tomorrow might bring. Anyone has anything similar? xx

I probably still look seven months pregnant, four months after my hernia repair! I feel like a Weeble, but much more comfortable than pre-surgery. Are you wearing a binder? God’s gift to hernia op patients! Deb x

No haven't been wearing a binder but it was so swollen when pressure dressing came off I can't imagine it would have been comfortable. Saw the consultant yesterday and he says it's a seroma. I'm not convinced but haven't had CT results back yet. He's going to drain it so i'm just pleased something is being done. He did say I need to wear a binder once it's drained. Also that I was ok to go on holiday in 3 weeks x

Well that's good news at least. But what is a seroma? When will you get CT results?
