post op gyno appointment
hey guys, I had a laparoscopy about a month ago where they confirmed my endo and found some nodules and cysts hiding in there. How long did you have to wait to hear back of results and to talk to the gynaecologist after your operation? Calling the hospital where my gyno resides is practically impossible

Shingles - to vacc or not to vacc
Morning wonderful hive mind. Wonder if I can pick your brains... I've received my first invite for a shingles vacc and while I'm "delighted' I'm on the map with local medical network I'm daunted and unsure as to whether I book one. Came on here and had a look-see in the posts regarding shingles and

5 courses of antibiotics
Hi. I have been prone to uti's for 50 years and recently had a very bad uti which took 5 different antibiotics to treat. I can't get to see a GP (Uk) only been able to get an appointment with the surgery paramedic. I've just finished a week of Nitrofurantoin which settled the symptoms, but now 2 days

Anyone had hand therapy for Chronic repetitive strain injury of the wrists?
My question is has anyone ever had hand therapy for chronic tendonitis or like a chronic repetitive strain injury in your wrist? And if so did it help with the pain? This is the only thing that I've not tried besides obviously I've not tried surgery and I asked my orthopedic hand dr about it and he doesn't

Hi thereLooking for advice/experiences post surgery. I had Interval Debulking/Radical Hysterectomy on 26 October. The surgery went well and I came home after 5 nights. I have suffered with horrible bloating and pain since and was told when still in the hospital it was from post-surgery gas which I know

I am hoping that you can help - although I am not sure what I am asking - but just need to offload - I hope that you will be able to see my previous posts when you will see that although not having had a B12 diagnosis, because of my many symptoms during the past two years, and no one being able to

Preparing for Open Heart surgery
So last year I was diagnosed with a 2cm ASD and was awaiting surgery on the 5th January via catheter. Hi Everyone!
Well, I've been on quite a journey. To say the least. I've had MS for22 years and I stopped all treatments back in 2018. I've had 17 years of injections. I still ended up in a wheelchair while on them. This July I was dx with Cancer of the mouth. It started with white patches. I had ALOT of Dr, PA, nurses

prasugrel
I have been taking aspirin with Prasugrel for 12 months since my HA and have now been told by my surgery to stop the Prasugrel and continue with Aspirin. I take ramipril and statins etc as normal but not prasugrel.I have read that it can be taken for up to 30months although this can increase the risk

post surgery blues
hey all! Doing fine, but took a further two days off work this week, post surgery. Felt i needed it. i did ask the surgeons where this came on the scale of seriousness 1-10 of the op. Not a bright question on my part, so they asked back what i thought a 10 was? I figured a heart op was probably

ADT + Zytiga holiday???
I've been on Orgovyx since 8/15/22 and Zytiga since 4/1/23. I'm also suffering from neuropathy from nerve damage that occurred in December 22. The nerve pain has gotten worse and my oncologist and neurologist are wondering if ADT or Zytiga are too blame. Anyone have experience with these drugs and
