question about chemo for recurring tumour
hi, My husband was diagnosed with GBM4 in December 2021. He has had an enlarged biopsy, a removal of tumour, radiotherapy x 2, months of TMZ and avastin. We’ve had 6 months of stable scans and no chemo which has been amazing. Recent scan showed regrowth and the oncologist is recommending lomustine

Hi everyone, hope you’re all not too bad and enjoying the lovely weather. I’ve been back to The Christie, I didn’t get on the immunotherapy trial, my CA125 wasn’t high enough would you believe! I’m not a candidate for radiotherapy either but I may be a candidate for surgery. I’ve been referred for

Rare Case of Recurrent Cutaneous CLL in the Extremity: Long-Term Follow-Up and Literature Review, Written with the Assistance of ChatGPT
Note that this is a rare complication of CLL! The original case study was from 2001, so treatment was well before the availability targeted CLL therapies and radiotherapy contributed to curing the blisters. The case study is also an example of how ChatGPT can be used to make such reports more understandable

Now Undetectable PSA on BAT Regimen
Happy to share my latest progress report. Note that I am mHSPC, lymph nodes only to pelvis and abdomen. I have been on long-cycle modified BAT for 2.5 years now. 3 months of very high testosterone (400mg T-cypionate every 2 weeks), then one month of ADT using Orgovyx. My PSA has continued to decline

looking for advice.
My husband Martin was diagnosed in 2019 with prostate cancer. Gleason score 7 (3+4) Biopsy showed 12 out of 16 cores. In June 2019 he had Robotic surgery. We were told everything went very well. His PSA dropped to <0.05. This lasted until September 2020 when his PSA started to increase 0.46. And continued

Life beyond Myelofibrosis
I progressed from ET to Myelofibrosis a couple of years ago. I had an enlarged spleen and ruxolitinib lowered the platelets too much so I was switched to fedratinib. Depending on what predictive tool was used, I had a median predicted life span of between 2 and 14 years - not terribly helpful! I was
