High grade prostate cancer: Large Tumor, High Gleason (9), Low PSA. What next?
Hi everyone, I am new here. My father (50 years old) has been recently diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock to us but we are trying to approach it head-on and gather as much information as possible. We are researching to decide on the best treatment moving forward

In focus: travel - suncare
Hello This is the last in our series of posts on travelling following a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. This week we're looking at suncare. Many of us like to spend time outside when we have a sunny day in the UK or when we’re on holiday somewhere warmer. A small amount of sunlight on our skin each day

Asking for prayers for my sister in law
My sister in law has been having trouble with her one eye, its been dry and irritated. Yesterday she went to the VA hospital because she said it was like looking through broken glass. She was told the blood flow to her eye had been cut off. They sent her to Buffalo General, and there she was told

A relief
I just saw my radiation oncologist and he couldn’t see any progression on my scan. We discussed it all and decided on one radiation treatment to T9-11. It will kill a few cancer cells and I will have peace of mind that I didn’t wait and it got worse. It was a big relief for him to explain it all and

Immunotherapy
I have had 18 doses of immunotherapy and will have a further dose scheduled for 2 January. I am coping very well. I was expecting 36!doses in all. But I am positive and active but can’t climb stairs or hills without getting out of puff!! The oncologist is talking about stopping it and giving me a rest

Are There Any SAFE Aromatase Inhibitors
Are there any aromatase inhibitors that don't have serious side effects. I am scheduled to go on one after the first of 2020 when my radiation therapy is finished. I was diagnosed with stage 2A lobular carcinoma in my left breast in October 2019 and had a lumpectomy. No lymph nodes were involved.

Keytruda and radiotherapy experiences?
Hi all, My partner had her latest CT scan results today, it showed a slight increase in the tumour in her left lung. This being after a massive decrease in its size shown in her last scan 3 months ago. She's going to continue with Keytruda but is now going to have radiotherapy with it, starting in January
