Bone problems?
Had radiotherapy 16 years ago for anal cancer, am taking calcium and vitamin D as concerned about future hip arthritis, bone breakages. Am 66. Anyone else had experience of thinning bone density? Would like to prevent this. Many thanks.

Hey lucky me - I now have 2 cancers
I wrote about this 2 months ago and things have changed so I'm re-writing my post: It's important to note I skipped my May Lupron injection.
8/30 Mayo C11 Choline Pet scan:
1. New choline avid marrow occupying lesion in the mid right humerus likely represents metastaticdisease. Additional focus

Any input/advice please on radiotherapy post immunotherapy?
Hi all. I’m almost at four years now after being diagnosed with Stage 4 NSLC and spine mets in January 2019. Which is brilliant and every day I think how lucky I am! I started off with pemetrexed, carboplatin and pembrolizumab, then moved to maintenance pemetrexed and pembrolizumab, then pembrolizumab

I am starting radiotherapy and chemo together for 6 weeks. Has anyone else started yet. How are the effects. What should I expect?

After 30 years of living with the affects of radiotherapy I found this community after a Google search for remedies after the doctor only advised imodium. I have found it to be a very emotional discovery as I didn'teven know PRD was a thing! Has anyone tried peppermint oil tablets? Do they help

Superficial thrombophlebitis an memory loss
I have been prescribed letrozole after having a cancerous well contained lump removed plus 3 lymph nodes which were clear. Had a weeks radiotherapy which the oncologist said wasn’t essential. Could walk away at this point. Have been on letrozole for about 6 weeks and had a few side effects. 3 weeks

Active surveillance or not for localisedprostate cancer
Glesson 3+4, dre normal, psa 4.2, no symptoms, grade T2 Value now time quality of life and could go for the surveillance, treatment would be radiotherapy and possible hormone therapy with side effects not to be laughed at. Anyone else on active surveillance?
