Newly Diagnosed
Got the diagnosis last week I had Gleason 7 (4+3) adenocarcinoma in right mid prostate (70% of tissue) and 7 (4+3) in right apex (60%of tissue). Rest of prostate is benign. MRI revealed the lesions are in the transition zone (TZ). Just waiting for the PET scan to determine whether it has metastasized

radiation proctitis
I am almost 3 years out from radiation therapy and I’m still suffering from symptoms of radiation proctitis. I did have it confirmed by colonoscopy about a year and a half ago, at that time the gastroenterologist told me he thought it would resolve eventually but it persists. Have any of you had G.I

Hello ! Ok, to follow up from my previous post: The good news is, no ovarian tumour residue etc. The “we don’t know yet news” is: The cervix , when removed and biopsied , showed it had high grade of both CIN & CGIN cells - as the cervix was removed they feel they should have removed the risk

51 yo recently diagnosed
I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am 51 with no family history. PSA 20, 2 lesions on MRI, and biopsy showed one was 3/4 and the other 4/3. I am pretty much exclusively bottom. I read here about how gay men should not get a prostatectomy. Whatever little information I have read seem

cost of Gold Fiducial Markers
I had three markers put into my prostate to assist targeting the Xray for radiotherapy. Whereas my Medicare advantage plan Humana paid for the procedure, the office nurse said I need to pay $75 for the markers as it is not covered. Is this true??? I have found no evidence for this.
