Can you keep focus in large group settings?
I take hydroxycarbamide, blood thinners and
statins
. I really struggle to focus in a large group setting e.g. a party or meeting. People talk to me and I feel as though they go out of focus. I can nod, show appropriate reactions etc but communication on my end is limited.

Do lower glucose levels slow the prostate cancer growth? 70-85 level better than 90-100 level? Continuous Glucose Monitor usage?
Some of the meds we take, raise the blood glucose, such as
statins
and possibly the ADT meds as well. Does anyone use the continuous glucose monitor to learn what food to eat and not eat, and when to eat them, and in what portion size etc? If so, what are your recommendations?

Rant!
He immediately blamed the HRT (been on it nearly 20 years) and then swopped to "need
statins
" which he kept repeating. I just said No, with no explaination, no point as he was not listening. In the end I just said I wanted a blood test for B12, Folate and any other vits he could stick down.

How best to take Colestyramine (Cholestyramine) please?
Confusingly I was also on
statins
for very high cholesterol (thought to be a polygenic case, note I'm a treated leukaemia patient probably with lots of mixed up genes). I have stopped taking
statins
whilst I take Colestyramine.

One Dr wanted to refer me to the Cardiologist as I have a very low resting heart rate (Cardiologist said he wasn't worried based on the 24 hour monitoring), I was put on
statins
for high Cholesteral.

4th Covid vaccine??
I went on
statins
in June & had 2nd & 3rd vvaccination(Oct). Felt worse than ever after 3rd vac. Scary. Really bad chest, heart, pseudomonas etc. Overall, a bad year. Much improved as 2022 progressed. Heart fine now! Had Covid in April, like a mild flu.

Can medication be reduced after a certain time with no problems?
I will continue with the
Statins
as I have no side effects and I believe the long term benefits can be significant. Has anybody discussed reducing meds with their cardiologists, especially Flec, and what is their experience?

Mitochondrial Protections for Aging Humans PartII
Some drugs including
statins
, may inhibit endogenous CoQ10 synthesis. There are also chronic diseases with lower levels of CoQ10 in tissues and organs. High doses of CoQ10 may increase both circulating and intracellular levels, but there are conflicting results regarding bioavailability.

Cholesterol and Low T3
It’s just so scary and frustrating because I really don’t want to be forced onto
Statins
if as I suspect my T3 is low (which it has been on a private test in the past). Would love to hear how others have managed to get the T3 they need in the UK?

Alarming Fibroscan Results out of the blue.
She is an active, healthy, slim 70 year old with no health issues apart from raised cholesterol for which she takes
statins
. She drinks 2 bottles of wine per week with breaks in between. She has an appointment with her GP next week with a view to having further tests carried out.
