Exhausted by trying to find a solution

To anyone out there who is struggling with chronic constipation do you take PPI’s and if so do they affect your bowel. I am really struggling as I have had this problem since I was a teenager but it has got much worse since I started medication. I take Statins, PPI’s for a Hiatus Hernia, and Anlodipine. I had a second prolapse in April and was told the constipation would not improve after the operation. Has anyone suffered constipation taking PPI’s? I have diverticulitis as well as piles. Have tried most laxatives on the market, lots of fibre, seeds, linseed, beetroot, fruit, all veg, little meat and fish. Please if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thank you.

ppis can cause constipation in some people. don't know about statins though. I suffer woth pain and chronic constipation, try linoclotide (Constella)from your doctor, thart should definately work
