Nexletol is a new cholesterol-lowering drug that has shown promise in reducing the risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems. It also appears to avoid the muscle pains experienced by some with statins.

When I find out more I will let you know.

Interesting thank you for posting

Nexletol is the brand name for Bempedoic Acid which is is approved by NICE for use within the NHS.

It is used in conjuction with Ezetimibe for some people who cannot tolerate statins and those who have FH.

Although if it is anything like the other newly approved cholesterol reducing drugs which come at high cost such as Inclisiran I imagine you have to go through many hoops to get it prescribed as an alternative to statins.

I’ve just tried Nustendi. It didn’t agree with me but it’s worth a try.
