Is there anything that can be done to stop this tiredness, no energy, pain and weight gain.
I was diagnosed 17 and a half years ago after 5 years being unwell with no energy, dry skin, dry throat and bad headache's, also every joint in my body was in agony. It was my Rheumatologist who diagnosed me. Then 7 years ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and now on 200mcg levothyoxine. But I've

Mick Jagger's Diet
OK – I admit it I am a Rolling Stones fanatic as are quite a few here. We are all aware of his fitness level and that he works out regularly. However, what is his diet like? Obviously not “burger and beer” based so I thought I would research it. In the entourage he has both a personal trainer and a

Stable Angina Maybe
Hi, I went into hospital, end of February, for spinal surgery and came out displaying stable angina-like symptoms. Having an angiogram soon after all the initial checks, heart ecg, lungs, etc. don't show the problem. Now, silly question: can chest and breathing exercises bring on precipitate angina like

Spine or Nerve related
I've had RLS for years but it was always moderate and manageable. Since I had spinal surgery last year it has been magnified x 10. Strangely, after the surgery, part of my left leg is numb. The RLS seems worse in that leg. Could RLS be spine or nerve related? Do you have nerve or spinal issues?

Four years on and still feeling 20 years older
Hi, I had my PE four years ago, and was admitted to hospital on the 18/02/15. I had been feeling unwell several months prior with pains in the back/shortness of breath, but put it down to ongoing back issues and the affects of smoking 18-20 cigarettes a day. I was working full-time and travelling up

Desperate
I've had RLS for quite a few years but since my spinal surgery it's 24/7 instead of just at night, I can't sit and watch TV, I can't go to a movie, I can't ride in the car, and I can't enjoy life. I'm about ready to go out of my mind. After my surgery, part of my left leg is numb and I seem to get

Cough cold since reducing prednisone
Since starting pred 2 years ago, 60 mg for GCA I haven’t had any colds in this time, however now I’m down to 2 mg and have had a colds for 6 weeks and now a horrendous cough, could it be that my Adrenal glands have not kicked in??? I was wondering whether to increase pred for a while? Really do not

Peakflow and colds (newbie question)
Hi! I’ve only very recently been diagnosed and started Spiromax (1 puff, twice day) 10 days ago. My Peakflow almost instantly improved from 320 to 370 and was still improving when I caught a cold on weekend. Now my peakflow is struggling to get to 300. I’m not struggling to breathe but just feel generally

Continual colds
Hi my husband has GPA in drug induced remission and only on AZA. He has had the stand and treatment and is doing ok. My question is he seems to go from one cold to another runny nose (no blood etc) and sneezing .. is this usual when immunity is suppressed? I had bad hay fever at the moment and are symptoms

Anyone out there with Psoriatic Arthritis and Lupus? How was your PsA diagnosed? How is it diagnosed as different from OA?
I had a hip operation in April 2013. I had growths on my hip socket. The way it was explained to me was that my ball socket on my left hip was shaped like a rugby ball when it should look like a football. I was running at the time, half marathons. The last one I did was painful and I had to stop running

Tampenadol
My pain specialist has suggested trying Tampenadol 50mg twice a day for chronic back and leg pain. I've been on it a couple of days so far it's not been enough to cope with flare up pain during the day so I've had to either use oramorph or tramadol to cope . What doses are people on and how long do
