A big decision , don't know what to do!
I've had back problems for 5 years and tried everything . I had a discectomy in 2017 on L5 but had complications and 2 more surgeries for a csf leak and spinal sepsis. I'm still in a lot pain and at first they said I need a 2 level fusion but the surgeon changed his mind saying it wouldn't help my pain

Cold Sores
I was diagnosed in 2010 with CLL and on W&W. I am now troubled with persistant cold sores on my nose or mouth. Tried the usual creams but still come back. Does any one have the same problem?

Moving On To Another Trial
After a year on weekly Humira injections; I’m switching to Cimzia. Additionally, I inject MTX once a week and take 5 mgs of prednisone. I have 3 types of arthritis: RA, PsA and OA. It is a delayed diagnosis due to a misdiagnosis by a rheumatologist 3 years ago. I also have neurological factors to consider

Good morning friends...what a week this has been. Going for brain scans and waiting for results, finding out my brother has been hospitalized in a neighboring state for extreme alcohol poisoning/seizures and now alcohol withdrawal; and trying to not over discuss this infidelity thing with my husband

Unexplained Chest Pains/Palpitations
I started having tachycardia 4 years ago. My heart rate would go up into the 170s. I've had several ECGs, blood work, CT Scan of the heart, stress test, holter monitor, Ziopatch and echo. Everything came back normal. I have been put on propranolol, metoprolol, and now Bisoprolol 2.5 mg once daily since

Lumbar spinal stenosis with PSP?
My husband also was diagnosed with severe lumbar spinal stenosis and it was recommended he have spinal fusion. We are not going to do that at this point. Can't imagine adding that on top of everything else. The rehab would be nearly impossible. Someone else on this site (I can't find the post now) said

Ignored CKD diet and then had best test results so far
I am not making recommendations that what I did should be done by you. Each must follow their own doctors advice. I am just relating my experience. In mid 2017 I had kidney removed. I immediately became classified stage 3b, with creatinine levels of 1.8 or 1.9. I followed all the advice. Diet.

Hello everyone, I have had a bit of a break from ttc after my first ivf cycle that resulted in a chemical pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage, to have spinal surgery. I feel much more physically prepared for pregnancy now. How I thought I could carry a child when my back hurt so much is silly in hindsight

Rapid Progression of CBD?
This is my first post, so I hope this isn't a tired worn-out subject. My husband, like so many, had a long delay in his CBD diagnosis, including two spinal fusions and a lot of other shenanigans starting back in 2014. He has been moderately healthy until this spring (his last surgery was in February

Angiogram results
2 weeks ago my cardiologist thought the angiogram would show either no problem or a very minor problem. Yesterday it actually showed a blockage and several instances of narrowing. Oh dear! Subsequent heart scan showed no damage. This was good to hear. I was offered alternative approaches. The first,

Any experience of Remifentanil during labour?
I am 30 weeks pregnant and had an appointment with an anaesthetist today to discuss pain relief during labour. I had spinal surgery at age 12 and I have been advised that they may not be able to administer an epidural. They have suggested that it would be safer for me to have Remifentinal during a natural
