Amazing scan day
Had the most amazing day. For those who don't know my story, we had a surprise natural bfp after 3 failed cycles of icsi. Had a scan today and saw our bean for the first time. 7weeks and 6 days on scan with a strong heartbeat. Still can't believe we have been so lucky after such a long and hard journey

Wibble and wail!
Hi all. Have replied to a few posts but not said a first hello! Am also having a wibbly day. I am 44, ttc since getting married in 2014; 3x failed fresh ivf, 1x failed fet. After a pause and some thought, we are now doing first DE cycle w frozen eggs. Am now thickening up lining ready for hopeful transfer

A whole host of 'issues'...
Hi, I'm new here and feeling pretty desperate for a boost... As I'm sure you all know nothing is ever simple so I'll try and be as simplistic as I can to summarise my story so far! My husband and I have been TTC for 5 years. I'm type 1 diabetic and have an underactive thyroid. After a few years of TTC

Hello from me :)
Hi everyone, hope you've all had a nice long weekend. I've just come across this forum as we are hopefully getting ready to attempt cycle number 5. We have been trying for 6 years now, ICSI every time and lots of eggs, but not great quality (I have polycystic ovaries and my husbands motility and morphology

Advice please from people who are considering giving up or have had to give up with IVF (DEPRESSING STUFF AHEAD!)
Hi everyone. We had a round of ICSI which resulted in one little embryo being put back, but a bfn. We had our follow up appointment last week & due to me having a low AMH & heading for early menopause our clinic said that our best option would be donor eggs. Our one little embryo was average & if we

Jeez c'mon AF!!!
Hi everyone! So I haven't been on here for a few weeks as I've been off enjoying myself since my 1st icsi resulted in a bfn on the 28/3. I'm due to start the countdown for an FET this week but my af hasn't shown up. It was due on Tuesday...??? Now I know I sound like I'm being impatient (which I probably

OTD BFN ICSI round 1 failed... feeling crushed π’
So round one ICSI has resulted in a BfN :'( nothing prepared me for how bad this would feel. My sister has her 12 week ultra sound scan today and is announcing the news to the family π’ and I've got to smile and get on with another failed attempt at having a baby... What has made it worse is I feel

Referred to Shrewsbury
Hi, hoping for some support and guidance on what to expect next. Been TTC for 22 months now and finally been referred today to Shrewsbury for ICSI. Am I in for a long wait? Has anyone had ICSI before that might able to tell me what to expect? Thank you in advance for your support x

It's been a while!...
Good morning lovely people! We have a Son (I'm blessed!) Who's 4.5 & had a miscarriage 2.5 years ago, we had no trouble conceiving both times but since the miscarriage we've had nothing. So I've not been on for a while since our self funded failed icsi last July. Things has changed since then in regards

Causes of failed ICSI... fibroid ?
I'm going over and over in my head what could have led to my failed ICSI attempt... what is annoying me is that for the last 5 years I've had a uterine fibroid, outside of the cavity but it's grown quite large. I've complained about the fibroid as it has caused me to have severe heavy painful periods

Broken heart
I just found out that my first ICSI attempt has failed. I am so broken hearted and gutted. Seven yrs with no luck at all. I'm 42, low AMH. Planning for second icsi after recovery. Hope this will work coz I have no time. Desperately want to be a mom.

Another crap day on the rollercoaster
So in last chance saloon. Feeling crap and bloated all week as follicles were doing well but didn't feel like real cycle being on clomid only. Day of trigger found out that the top notch consultant we should have been flying to see in Auckland was actually in Australia at her daughters graduation! Had

10 days post Embryo Transfer
Hello, I'm 10 days post Embryo Transfer from my first ever cycle of IVF and ICSI. I'm a bit nervous as I'm testing on Sunday. Not really having any symptoms, no spotting, just the usual bloated tummy from my ovaries, a few twinges and cramps, sore boobs etc but that could be side effects from the pesseries

Eggs failed to transfer
Hi, Just wanted to post to see if anyone else has had the same happen to them. Everything went really smoothly with the injections and I had 29 follicles on scans. When I went for egg collection it was predicted that 11 would be collected. I had an horrendous time during egg collection. They ended
