Hi I am in awe of all of you lovely ladies My daughter has had 9 eggs fertilised. They say they are good quality but may transfer the embryo tomorrow or Monday. Does anyone know what difference it will make, and why they are not sure which day yet? It is my daughter's first ICSI cycle. She doesn't

2nd fresh ICSI round
Hi, is anyone else going through a second fresh round? It would be good to have a buddy or 2 to talk to. I thought it would be easier this time because we have been through the process before, but it's still very stressful with lots of unknowns π¬ My last round didn't go well and only ended up with

"Oh i know someonewho's had ivf and they fell pregnant naturally straight after maybe this will happen to you" Now while i know it can happen ours is due to poor sperm count, motility

Heya! I feel like I am done with my life here. Here goes my infertility story (I will try to make it brief). I bought insurance 5 years back when I found out about my infertility issues. Now I am done with IUI and IVF treatments (no positive results) My GP suggested ICSI on our last visit. I want to

Clinics in the Midlands /time between fresh cycles
Hi - if anyone has experiences, good or bad, of clinics around the Midlands please PM me. Just completed one failed icsi self funded at Bham women's but their wait to start again will be v.long and I think I might have low reserve so don't think we have the luxury of hanging around. What tends to

Trying not to give up on hope
I need mention that this forum post is to vent out my personal agony over all those failed TTC attempts. 2 years of natural TTC (failed) under the instruction of RE that my PCOS history won't affect my pregnancy anymore. The unexplained infertility was followed up by insemination as well (failed). When

Chromosome abnormality
As I've come back to the forums after taking some time out, I thought I'd update you lovely folks with our current situation. So, after our second bfn, after having been told we had an 'above average' blasto by the embryologist, we were shocked to be told by the consultant that none of our 6 embryos

Fluid around the ovaries?
I'm on my second shot at ICSI at the moment, and I'm just about to have my egg retrieval (wedneday morning). I went in for a scan today and they saw fluid around my ovaries, and they say my e2 is very high. Has anyone experienced this and gone on to develop OHSS? Similarly, has anyone had this and NOT

Genetically incompatible
Hi Ladies, at our follow up appointment from our 2nd and final ICSI cycle, I was told that my husband and I must be genetically incompatible. She said this was because I was 34, had a thick enough lining but our embryo quality was poor on both cycles (terrible on 2nd). Has anyone else been told this?

Clinic change?
I'm with an NHS clinic but self funding and although they've been lovely, the pre treatment really has been quite 'casual' in terms of getting up to date tests on ovarian reserve etc to make a tailored plan. Just had 1st icsi (low sperm count) but I got bumped from 225 to 450 menopur for 5 days. Got

Improving sperm - advice needed please! ππ»
Ok, so I might be jumping the gun with my thoughts and questions but there is a lot of experience & knowledge amongst us π. Just had first failed icsi. I'm 37, husband 50. Had a vasectomy reversal 2 and a bit years ago which luckily worked despite how long he'd been 'snipped' . Over the last 2 years

Waiting for our next appointment...
Hiya! I posted a few weeks back after our first consultation at our local fertility clinic. We've been back for the results of the blood tests and swabs I had done and my husband sample analysis too. My AMH levels are fine and also my ultrasounds came back clear too which is good. There was no change

Transfer done - not sure how to feel?
Hey everyone. So today we had 5 day transfer. I'm 37, husband older had VR it's our first icsi. I didn't quite take it all in when embryologist spoke to us, but they put two embryos back in. She said they weren't top grade, I think she mentioned b's and c's. She wasn't negative at all or say they were
