2nd icsi
Hi ladies how soon did you start your 2nd treatment after the 1st one failed I sincerely do apologise for this question I know it's a sore spot and some people would rather forget but I really need any help I can get as I feel like I'm alone especially if everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant

Successful sperm retrieval!!!
Well after spending the last week in a state of mental melt down my better half has had a successful sperm retrieval today. We've been told that hopefully there's enough sperm for 4 rounds of ICSI - IVF! Omg I cant quite believe it! I have got my appointment for the treatment plan next Thursday. IVF

Back on the 2ww rollercoaster
After an egg collection where we only got one egg, surprisingly needing icsi and then knowing it had to be good enough to freeze we have a miracle with an expanded blastocyst onboard today. Now to concentrate on not being too mental for 2 weeks.

Advice re: sperm donors? Keen to hear people's thoughts and experiences x
Hiya, As you may know I've had 2 failed attempts (one icsi and fet) and our issue is male factor. I've been reading up that sperm can impact overall embryo quality and our batch wasn't a good batch hence both embryos ended in early miscarriage. We are now wondering whether it's worth spending more

Alcohol advice
So what are people's thoughts on alcohol during ivf treatment. Due to start my first cycle of ICSI. Should be starting injections in the next week and egg collection due week beginning 29th may. Trying to keep calm and act normal especially around my friends so was thinking of small amounts of alcohol

Hi Old Friends and New Friends Just a little update .I haven't been here for ages. To those of you who don't know me I fell pregnant in Feb after one round of IVF with ICSI split. Incredible lucky I know. Currently 15 weeks pregnant. So I had the 12 weeks scan a few weeks ago and I've anxiously waiting

Hope for the future
Hi its been a long time since I've written a post on here so thought it was time for an update. After our 4 failed attempts at ICSI ending in tears again on Christmas eve 2014 we decided to go down the adoption road and we are so glad we did. As I'm writing this our new son is sleeping soundly upstairs

Could number 2 happen?
Hi, It is almost a year since our icsi baby was born and he is amazing! We were so Lucky to catch first time after struggling with unexplained infertility. I always thought if I had a baby that would satisfy my mothering desire but now i am overwhelmed with the want to have number 2! We have been trying

Where is everyone at with your IVF journeys??
Hi ladies, I just wanted to ask where everyone is up to on their IVF journeys? And how you're all doing? I've been reading and commenting on some posts and see there's a few of us all bobbing along at similar stages. It's been one heck of a journey for us to get to this point in the first place but

Post Cycle Appointment Done and was strangely Positive
So we had our post-cycle appointment done. I had to wait almost 1 and half hours before the consultant could finally see us, but it was worth the wait. She said a few things that were upsetting: we are unlikley to ever get pregnant naturally (although she did say never say never), our embryo development

Egg retrieval all done π
So it was just fine - we got 9 eggs from 11 follicles. Happy with that. Unfo there was a wee problem with OH's sample so he had to do a 2nd one and we'll get a call later to see if they'll go for IVF or ICSI. Dunno if that makes any difference to our odds of success? Anyway, fingers crossed we get at
