Im so worried about the outcome, what if my tubes are blocked? What’s the next steps? What if they fob me off like they have done

Can you help me join the dots?
Our first IVF cycle ended abruptly the day after egg collection with a phone call to say none of the 11 eggs fertilised. We had our follow up appointment on Thursday with our consultant which didn’t really answer any of our questions. He said ICSI was our only option and was fairly pushy about doing

We’re over the first hurdle...⚠️BFP WARNING⚠️
So, we’ve just had our second round of ICSI and tested positive this morning (our official test date) with a nice strong line! 😊 the first hurdle is passed but now, obviously, the nerves have kicked in. I’ve been having come cramps and was convinced AF was on her way and it failed, luckily I was proven

Hope vs Mental Health? Last chance advice, would really appreciate help please x
Hi All, Trying to make this a short story but basically we have been waiting for ICSI since we were diagnosed with MFI as well as PCO in March - had to wait for various tests etc so we used the time to prep by eating healthier, taking supplements etc. We just came back off holiday and my DH went in to

Update - the dreaded call 😬😬😬
After being up since 6 am stressing about the call....out of my 14 eggs...11 were mature...and 8 fertilized through ICSI! Sooo happy! 8 is also my lucky number 😁 so here in NZ the way it works is, if you have 4 embryos or less they do a 3 day transfer. More than 4 a 5 day transfer. So I'm booked in

How many cycles before you were blessed with a baby?
Seems to be a real mixed bag on here of what number of cycle people are on... Im currently waiting to start my first ICSI (if all goes well with sperm retrieval) And was curious as to how many cycles it took each of us before we had a little baby.. or prehaps what cycle were currently on and still waiting

8dp5dt cramping and bleeding
What a day !!!! This morning I had a very small bleed which was reddish/brown and stopped almost as quickly as it started. Then followed strong period like cramps which have continued all day. At 7pm went to do my pessary and there was more blood again in my liner reddish/brown again but quite a bit

Devastated- 11 eggs collected yesterday none fertilised
Had egg collection yesterday (first round of IVF) where they managed to get 11 eggs which was way more than we expected. Embryologist just called to say none of them fertilised even though sperm was looking good and 8 eggs were mature. Feeling pretty gutted as we were feeling really hopeful yesterday

Lost hope
Hi Ladies, Haven’t posted for a while been trying to get on with my life after 1st failed ICSI. Think I’ve lost my hope that this will ever happen. It’s been 3 years and now waiting for NHS IVF as we just can not afford any more private. Think I upset my parter who ask if I can see us having a baby

Period help please - sorry if TMI!
This is a long post but as you ladies have so much experience and knowledge I would be so grateful if you could help me please! Tried to tell my clinic that I think something might be wrong with my periods but they have basically not been interested. As the drugs they give you during IVF are supposed

We’ve found our smiles again 😊
So after a really shit few days of crying, not eating and rubbish broken sleep me and my boyfriend have pulled ourselves up and started looking to the future. In all honesty, nothing could have prepared us for the heartache a failed cycle caused. We’ve always thought of ourselves as very empathetic people

low ovarian reserve, IUI as last resort for bad quality eggs
Hello, I went to more appointments today, after 6 mnc attempt with 4 eggs of bad quality retreived, (embryos die on day 2) our specialist adviced to go completly natural cycle with egg retreival and icsi, or to even to test IUI. I was very surprised he suggested that as some previous retrieved eggs did
