Any cycle buddies?
Anyone here starting an IVF cycle now or soon? I had my baseline scan and bloods today for our first ICSI short protocol cycle. Trying to stay positive and not get my hopes up too much but both are proving difficult already! xx

Negative pregnancy test - icsi
Morning, Just an update, did our pregnancy test 14dp5dt this morning, and it was negative. Feeling totally heartbroken. Feeling like I've let everyone down again, had a missed miscarriage in 2014 and blamed myself for that too. This is just totally rubbish, dreading my period, they are normally painful

Nervous!!
Morning ladies, I had my egg collection last Friday for our 3rd attempt at IVF (well in our case we are going down the ICSI route) they collected 13 eggs, which is great for me as our highest was 6! They phoned Saturday and said 10 were mature but only 4 fertilised :( to be honest I was a bit down

Where and how? ( recommendations)
Hi, My partner and i are wondering of anyone would recommend just going private for treatment for ICSI and maybe IVF. And has anyone got recommendations which clinic would be best please? X

Egg donation
Hi ladies, I am looking at donating my eggs in an IVF cycle of my own. I am hoping that some of you could share your stories with me, either being a donor or receiving donor. Or currently waiting on a donor. I am hoping to help a couple who can’t conceive without assistant, 🤞🏽 Icsi ivf ukdonor glasgow

Reflexology over Accupuncture?
Hi Ladies, has anyone tried reflexology during ivf instead of acupuncture? I had a terrible experience with acupuncture years ago and it really put me off. I start short protocol for icsi on Thursday and know I should do acupuncture but wanted to know if I could consider reflexology instead?

“I am the one who knocks (up)”...hopefully.
I’m on day 6 of Menopur and day two of Cetrotide and so far so good 😊 I’ve not really had many symptoms, a bit of a pulling feeling inside and a couple of waves of sickness but that’s about it. I did spend a day worrying that no symptoms must mean it’s not working but then I decided to count myself

Well after 2ww and ICSI I’m not pregnant. It’s just my luck, my partner and I are the unluckiest people in the world. Everything goes wrong for us. Nothing is ever simple and straight forward. Totally deflated and feeling what’s the point anymore!

Sensitive post: our ivf miracle
I wanted to share our very happy news that our baby is here safe and sound following a successful ICSI cycle last year. I wasn’t sure whether to post this or not as I don’t want to upset anyone going through the torment of IVF, but I always drew hope from when others shared their happy endings so I

What to expect- the ICSI journey begins here
Hi all. First post for me. I’m 38, me and my DH have been TTC for 3 years. It’s a little of us both- a combo of short cycles and no ovulation and low Normal forms. So, naturally has not happened and what started out as lots of fun trying......became just very trying. We’re in a good place though and

IVF with ICSI
Hi, My husband has PCD and we have recently gone through a failed round of IVF with ICSI. His sperm are not motile, and I'm concerned that it is the reason why our first pregnancy ended up with a miscarriage (blighted ovum to be precise). I'm in the States and there doesn't seem to be much PCD support

What to ask in the second fertility appointment? (NHS)
I'm fairly new to all of this, and thought I'd try and see if I could get any advice. My partner and I have been TTC for 21 months now, and earlier in the year I had a lap for extensive endometriosis, which was subsequently removed (three months ago). Since then, our GP referred us to the NHS fertility

Time off work for IVF? - Teachers
Any teachers on here that have been through IVF during term time? My husband and I were hoping to complete our first round of IVF ICSI, during the summer holidays. However due to needing more tests beforehand this wasn’t Possible. We are hoping to start treatment at the end of September/ beginning October

August, let the ball roll again
After our first cycle failed in November (2 eggs, 1 mature but not fertilised) and a polyp removed last June, we've now just started a second IVF :) I luckily have just 1 injection a day to do - Gonal F is not prefilled so I can mix it with Menopur. We're trying a mild IVF cycle: 150 Gonal, 150 Menopur

ET today - but sooo confused about grading!
Hi ladies I had 18 eggs collected last Friday, of which all were mature enough for ICSI. We were told on Saturday that 8 had fertilised. When I was told about fertilisation, I was also given my transfer appointment - and didn’t receive any more updates until today. At today’s appointment, we were told

NHS funded ICSI
My husband and I have been accepted for NHS funded ICSI with either partner’s or donor sperm. However our clinic is saying they will only perform the option that has the highest possibility of pregnancy. This would therefore be using a sperm donor, as I don’t have fertility issues. I get that this would

Meds collected, day 1 of injections any day now!
Today I collected my meds for my first short protocol ICSI, my period is late but my clinic scanned me anyway today. They took bloods and confirmed for the 100th time in the last three years that the test was negative. Means I can get started as soon as my period arrives, never wished a period so much

Acupuncture for improved egg quality - any thoughts??
We are due to start our 5th IVF cycle with ICSI in the next few months. I have a low ovarian reserve and poor egg quality and have been doing a lot of research on fertility acupuncture. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what their thoughts are on whether it helped or not, especially in terms

Penicillin whilst pregnant
Hi all, I have recently had a BFP on my second cycle of ICSI but I now have tonsillitis and my doctor has given me penicillin! He said it’s fine to take whilst pregnant but my mum thinks I shouldn’t take it! Have any of you lovely ladies had penicillin whilst being pregnant? X

Medicated or non-medicated FET? Help!
Hi all! I’m looking for a bit of advice and I’m hoping you could possibly help.
