Endometriosis, Serve pain, and more problems
I had my 1st surgery when I was 25 years old and it was the Laparoscopic procedure that determines that I had a full-blown case of Endometriosis. Then after my diagnosis I had to have a complete surgery because my case was to bad for the doctors to remove it through the Laparoscopic opening. The doctors

My name is Loretta. I am 62 years old. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer in May 2014. I had a hysterectomy in June 2014 and had to have a Stoma as the cancer had spread to my bowel. This was followed with weekly chemo with carboplatin and taxol. I was unwell during chemo but once completed

Hello....I am new to this and am hoping you could answer a question or two I have. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Nov 2002, emerg surgeries, ileostomy, spending a great deal of my life in the hospital or home hooked up to things just to end up going back from infection, eventually attempted resection

Challenging but great to be alive
It was just over 5 years ago when I went to the bathroom and saw blood in the toilet bowl. I panicked and went to the ER, then to urologist. To shorten the story I had stage 3 muscle invasive bladder cancer with lymph involvement. My journey was a difficult one. Bladder was removed, donated to the Lindecker

Post surgery update
Hi all, So 2 months ago I had my operation, this was my 4th laparoscopy. I had questioned beforehand if it was that bad, I had been on zoladex for a few years so thought it couldn't have gotten out of hand. Well it turns out it was really serious, the surgeons did a segmental bowel resection and removed

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer last Feb & learnt it had spread to my Liver. Before starting Chemo a blockage was found during an Xray and as a consequence I now have a stoma bag. The idea of having a stoma bag had always horrified me, but it is surprising how one adjusts and now after 6 months its

Ready for Surgery, Need Advice
I was disagnosed with stage 2, muscle invasive bladder cancer, N-0, M-0 in April. Two MRIs showed no cancer outside the bladder. After 6 sessions of chemotherapy, my oncologist has determined it is time to remove the bladder (along with prostate and lymph nodes). Since I'm age 70, he's concerned about

Bowel issues and Itching
Hi I have had PBC for about 9 years. Two uestions for everyone. 1. Has anyone experienced bowel issues requiring a bowel resection and Ostomy? 2. Just recently I have started to experience itching. Normally it has a fairly nasty rash with it and small hives. Is this the experience of others?
