Kidneys I'm a bit concerned
I don't have fluid retention and stopped this after 4 days because it made me so ill (the low
sodium
) . Today a blood test taken yesterday showed my creatinine levels are now high and GFR low.

Urgent explosive diarrhoea
Hi to all sorry to post this but I was wondering if anyone else suffers with this. It’s been so debilitating all week. It’s a constant thing that comes and goes but of late it seems to be happening more often 😩. It starts not long after eating with the urgent pains and literally if I’m not a minute

Normal ventricles/fluttering atria?
When one has atrial flutter/afib and is on a rate control beta blocker (like metoprolol tartrate) as well as a rhythm control
sodium
channel blocker (like flecainide) … can the atria still be fluttering/fibbing but the ventricles pumping normally?

What To Eat When Eating Out?
He was told to start eating low
sodium
and low potassium, which he did. On 02/25/2021 his Creatinine was 1.21 and his GFR was 57. The Nephrologist gave me credit as the cook. I realize that labs are just a picture of a given day, but still they showed improvement.

Neupogen Injection During Doxetaxil Treatments.
I had a bad reaction and was put in hospital for 5 days because of a low white blood cell count - 5 - and low
sodium
count of 119. I believe the reaction was because I could not eat for 3 days due to a severe case of acid reflux. That was fixed with medication.

Recovering after Radiation
I finished my 5 rounds of Radiation Tuesday. I had some bowel irritation over the long weekend after Round 4, now having more after round 5. Gas and diarrhea together, what a treat. The NP told me to try Imodium, and heck next time I need a new safe I will contact the guys who packaged those tablets

Hard lumps above belly button
I did have constipation high up in my bowels but have been taking docusate
sodium
daily since. Any idea what the feeling of the lump/swelling is? I take lansoprazole daily but have done for 4 years so do not think that is a factor.

Drug skin reaction due to T4/T3.
I have been on Levo 50mcg for 20 months & T3 40mcg split into three doses for 14 months. In July 2020 I started to get swelling in my feet, ankle & leg but only in the left leg. It then went to my right leg & foot too. This went on until the end of November 2020. I was then put on water tablets to help

BP is well down, but an increase in sodium drives it right back up. What to do?
Through weight loss/exercise/no caffeine/low
sodium
/medication (Lisinopril-HCTZ 20-25mg), my blood pressure has dropped from about 190/110 to about 100/65. Cutting back on my
sodium
intake has made a profound difference. I am a 55 year old male, I exercise daily and I hydrate well.

Seen the heart nurse for the first time
She’s put him on the new drug DAPAGLIFLOZIN , she’s said to not restrict water as his
sodium
levels are fine, but not to be daft and guzzle it. We see her again in 2 weeks, feel so much better after seeing her x

Toilet Issues
So, I’ve been to the doctors and they haven’t diagnosed IBS. They just did checks to ensure no food intolerances. But with nerves I quite often get the feeling of needing to poo and not being able to hold it to the point where I’ve either got to stop the car and go in the back of the car in something

The last twice he has been for his bloods pre drain they have kept him in due to high potassium and low
sodium
, the last time they kept him for 3 weeks! He has also recently been diagnosed as having adrenal insufficiency. Is this all linked?

I am new here - question
I have suffered from IBS-D for many years. I find when I take Imodium I am good for a few days after. I am considering taking it every second or third day on a regular basis. Has anyone else had success with this method?
