sodium

Substitute Eplerenone for Prednisone with Zytiga?
Aldosterone causes

retention, edema, hypertension and hypokalemia. Eplerenone is a specific aldosterone receptor blocker. Aldosterone effects are blocked by this drug and hypertension, edema, increase blood volume and hypokalemia could be controlled.

Vinpocetine regulates levels of circulating TLRs in Parkinson's disease patients 2018
Vinpocetine blocks the accumulation of
sodium
in neurons, reduces the toxic effects of oxidative stress, inhibits the enzyme PDE1 and boosting blood flow, scavenges free radicals, and protects neurons from glutamate and NMDA toxicity. • Neuroplasticity.

Diagnosed with ARLD cirrhosis decompensated July 2022. Any helpful tips or advice would be greatly appreciated
Advised to obviously remain abstinent and low
sodium
diet. There have been no talks of fibroscan, meld or child Pugh. Transplant has not been brought up by consultant. They have tested my blood at clinic appointments and say they are going in the right direction.

Possible IBS but GP doesn’t know for sure…..
Hi. I’m really stuck with what’s going on with my body and movements. At the end of March I had what I thought was a standard tummy bug, I didn’t think much of it. After 4 days of diarrhoea and not eating (even water was going through) I tried eating a plain piece of bread. Needless to say that didn’

best foods to eat after ibs d flare
I’ve suffered from ibs for years and have been well controlled. Have never needed to do FODMAP as yet as know triggers. Anyway I’ve had the worst flare ever in last 5 days and no improvement. Constant diarrhoea. Everything just going straight through. Imodium helps but I need to start trying to eat

low sodium rate
My
sodium
level is still low (128). Only one digit higher than 3 months ago. My GP says he’s not unduly concerned at this moment, and will re-test again in 3 months. From what I’ve googled this low
sodium
can affect the kidneys and yet my kidney count was within the range (60-200) at 80ml!

The monster has struck!
I was given more potassium and
sodium
to try to rebalance them. I have continued to pass water frequently. No doctor has been sent for. This glass awakened a great fear of 4 years since I was diagnosed with PAF- that the condition will become permanent.
