My IBS
Hi guys, I’ve just joined and wanted to know how other people’s IBS effects them. I’ve had IBS all my life and it’s got worse the last few years to the point of going 10 times a day (on a good day) and I’m basically addicted to Imodium (Loperamide Hydrochloride) to help me go through the day. More On Odd Disorders That Can Cause Anxiety & Depression
For me,
sodium
is a problem too. I eat way more salt then I should, This dehydrates me and aggravates the Hypokalemia too. I'm working on it, though.

What should I do now???!! PLEASE help!!
His
sodium
came up today finally to 130-134. He is throwing up when he eats but for some reason they don’t want him drinking the high calorie boosts that he was drinking. They have NO answers yet and yet they have done many MRIs and CTs, test after test. They did more brain ct scans and mris today.

I wanted to know whether anyone here (whether for CBD or PSP) has taken Epilim (
sodium
valproate) and whether you’ve noticed an increase in sleep and confusion? Mum has CBD. Thanks,

Advice on Hyperparathyroidism
I was admitted and was treated with 3 litre of
sodium
chloride by IV to flush out the calcium. After that I was given phosphate solution due to low phosphate. I have also been given a 5 week supply loading dose of vitamin D.

New to CKD w/ Anxiety
I went on the DASH diet a month ago, watching protein (.8g/kg) and
sodium
(<2000mg/day). I have stopped eating red meat. I stopped drinking alcohol. I was a social smoker until about a few yrs ago, so that’s no longer in my life. I wasn’t a big soda drinker, so that’s no longer in my life either.

Slow Transit Colon with rectocele and intussusception - Prucalopride
It emptied for one or two days but after that, second or third go would not come out and very thin and hard even with coloxyl (docusate
sodium
) 120mg x 2 at night. Still requiring enema. I did start eating normal with lots of vegies, comparing to pre-Resotran.

Which alternative to warfarine?
Also my potassium and
Sodium
levels are very low. He advised to stop the water pills. Mind don’t know how I will react to that. Eating lots of high potassium foods hasn’t worked, it was even lower. But the best part is that after the ops. We are changing from warfarine to??? ...ban he suggested.

going on vacation- any advice?
just a short jaunt to the Florida Keys but I am worried about following the low
sodium
diet while there....I am pretty strict with myself about keeping those
sodium
levels to about 1500 mgs or less a day. Any ideas from anybody how they handle this while traveling? Thanks!

T3 instead of T4
Been to the GP to legalise this, who is happy with it, but when I queried the instructions that come with the SigmaPharm T3 which states "When switching a patient to Liothyronine
Sodium
from...L-Thyroxine..., discontinue the other medication...etc."
