Mediterranean Diet carbs..
Hey there so I am new to all of this and have been just reading and researching lately to help myself and this affliction. I have read multiple posts about people recommending the Mediterranean diet but I thought a low carb diet was more beneficial for ARFLD.

Tightening Chest
Hi, I have an ongoing cough/phlegm problem which I hope to have investigated in the New Year. I returned to the UK 3 days ago and as is the norm when here I am coughing more, have a wheeze and feel a slight uncomfortable/tight feeling in my chest. I have increased my AirFluSal inhaler to 3 puffs twice

Saniq app - set normal peak flow
Hello, I’ve just started using the Saniq app to record my peak flow, and my normal rate is set much too low, I think it’s based on my first entry. I’ve tried removing all my entries and starting again, but the normal is still set the same. I’m sure I heard that you can set your normal rate yourself

Vitamin K and Covid
I know quite a few people on this site take Vitamin K2 and they might be interested to read this. Think I may pause it for a while. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/939799?nlid=137977_5144&src=WNL_ukmdpls_201028_mscpedit_gen&uac=370631PK&impID=2642998&faf=1

Cough. Ongoing.
My “asthma cough” has been present for about 4 months now. Often during the day it’s hardly there, but at night/early morning i have a coughing fit, which means getting up, having a hot drink, and sitting up. I’ve decided I prefer coughing to feeling the breathlessness which freaks me out. With my cough

Update on tapering, plantar fasciitis and kefir.
Following the helpful advice from DL , PMR Pro and others 4 mths ago I increased my pred to 11mg per day in early September for 1 week, then dropped to10mg for 1 week and 9mg for 2 weeks and finally back to 8.5mg, the dose I had been comfortable on. I was doing well but plantar fasciitis kicked in.

Asthma General Enquiry
Hi, I am being treated for asthma as I have the classic symptoms - shortness of breath, tight chest, difficulty getting a satisfying yawn. I have had the blue inhaler for a few years - and my peak flow sits at ~330 before and after using this. I have used the brown inhaler for a few years but it doesn't

Tinnitus and Flecainide
I've been taking Flecanide (100mg 2x per day) and Metropolol for AFiB following two failed ablation for almost 3 years. My AFIB is well controlled and I've had no events during that time. I'm 65, healthy and very fit. Unfortunately, I've developed a severe case of Tinnitus that started in April 2020

Help and advice please.
My daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last year. We have only recently realised how serious this could be as we were given no advice or information at all. She has had a couple of really bad flare ups due to taking headache medication which we have since discovered were the cause of the flare
