Intense Stabbing in centre of chest
Hi everyone, just wanted to say thank you I find this forum so helpful and reassuring that there are so many of us experience the same problems, not that makes it ok but knowing others have the same symptoms and issues helps me get through the days. I wonder if I can…. ask does anyone else have this

Treatment for high TSH with high T4
My TSH is too high, but my t4 is also above the normal range. My ft3 is below the normal range. Has anyone in this situation been treated with low dose naltrexone?

Long-term asthma recovery queries
Hi all, I suppose this is a general question about long-term asthma recovery, as this is uncharted territory for me. Or if it's even asthma-related. In May 2020, I had several asthma attacks, which heavily restricted my mobility for the remainder of the year. I used to go to the gym twice a week, play

Lercanidipine and losing weight
Hi I’ve been on this medication for a few months now and so far so good. However, 4 weeks ago I started a weight loss regime & ive genuinely been strict- hardly any alcohol, low carb and cut portion size in half. I’ve even been sure to continue at the weekend. Initially I lost 2 pounds but for the last

Hamstring
I’m continuing to consolidate with 30-34 mins
slow
runs - about 8 mins per
k
. I’ve had nagging ache from back of knee up back of leg for quite some weeks and have just put Voltrol gel on before each run . Really aching today and wondering if this is a hamstring injury and what I need to do.

Low fat vs. Full fat Yoghurt
I was always eating the low fat version of greek yoghurt and then read the full fat might help with curbing some of my hunger pains and cravings. I do feel more satisfied with the whole fat or full flat. Does anyone have any info? With the low carb diet I'm trying to adhere to does this sabotage my

Medichecks result: B12 way too high, TSH suppressed - T4 and T3 somewhere in range? Help please?
Hi all These are my latest Medichecks results, blood test taken first thing in the morning, fasting, no vitamins for a week, previous dose of Levothyroxine morning before. I'm really surprised because I'm not feeling well and these results indicate that I should be? Except for the high Vit B result?

Dr Andy post today about peak flow
Hi everyone If you're on the Asthma UK mailing list you may have got an email today from Dr Andy about using your Peak Flow to record symptoms. I find my PF doesn't really reduce when my asthma kicks off, but it is very informative and useful. But I would just add one thing and I don't know if anyone
