Christmas Surprise
Last night I received the best Christmas present ever - the news that I am going to be a grandma again! I couldn’t wait to share this news with you all, my MS family. Could use every one’s prayer, though, as this is a high risk pregnancy. We almost lost my daughter-in-law and baby when little Emily

How do I get rid of shin splints?
Well, it is a fibromyalgia flare up, not shin splints, but they feel like that. When I get this bad flare up, I struggle to walk on my legs but then I sit down and the pain doesn't ease. Any recommendations?

PLMD (no RLS) symptoms during the day
PLMD without RLS—jerk-like movements occur in different parts of the body at random throughout the day. I’m only 19, so I was diagnosed early and I’m treated fairly well, but I’ve heard people describe PLMD as somewhat predictable. The woman monitoring my sleep told me I was basically having seizures

TRH Stimulation test
I have had Hypothyroid symptoms for four and and half years, but my bloods are within reference ranges. Just wanted to ask if anyone on the site has been diagnosed using the old TRH stimulation test, and if so how long ago this was, and if it was on the NHS or through a private endocrinologist? Thanks

Aripiprazole side affect?
I have just been given Aripiprazole to take as well as my paroxetine to help with my ocd intrusive thoughts.I have been on paroxetine for 10 years and neve felt as bad as this. Is Aripiprazole causing my restlesness and feeling irritable? I just can't seem to sit and relax.

I usually have an immaculate
sleep
hygiene
routine and have tried all the usual tips of a protein snack before bed, L-tryptophan, slow release melatonin etc. The only thing which helps me ‘sleep’ is antihistamine, although I read any assisted sleep is classed more as sedation than proper sleep.

Anyone with experience of PLMD without RLS?
Hi all. Firstly, I feel I’m getting more from this community than contributing, for which I apologise, but I’ve just started my journey and hopefully I will be able to contribute more as my experience grows. So basically I have PLMD, not RLS. The only symptom I get that I know about is being really

Study suggests women may be undertreated for obstructive sleep apnea.
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) has been considered a predominantly male disease. While more women have been diagnosed with OSA in recent years, the numbers remain disproportionate, with 3-to-5 times more men than women receiving an OSA diagnosis. Investigators from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Yale
