dx in jan of 19. sleep problems increased particulary post diagnosis. was taking klonopin, requip, gabapentin and C/L. was doing well but started getting rather woozy in the middle of the night. decided needed to make a change. fast fwd to sessions with dr. mischley who recommended cannabis as a sleep aid. was hesitant and skeptical but went off all of those other meds except C/L. got my medical marijuana (Florida) card last month and have been taking a combination of tinctures. daytime on a 12.5 to 1 ratio (cbd to thc) x3 and in the evening i'm taking a 1 to 9 ratio. also use a vape pen that has 1 to 9 ratio and I mix that in prior to bedtime. I have experienced positive results. the outcomes are a little difficult for me to clearly quantify as I have been struggling mightily with lightheadedness and fatigue for the past 3 months. I'm doctoring around it and have made some progress in those symptoms but they remain. So, I am going to continue with cannabis products at this point. john

Medical Marijuana and sleep update
i wish we had support here in Michigan like that you get from your DR.We have dispensaries here but they are ran by very young people who really are not knowledgeable about MM and unfortunately our Drs here dont support MM so it is hard to get good advice here. They really just want to push the products on you that arent selling well and i havent been able to find any tinctures that are not either very high in THC or dont have any THC. so aggravating
Where in Michigan? We have found a medical marijuana caregiver I would recommend to you.
I'm sure you could do a phone consult with the integrative medicine clinic I used here if Florida. Her name is Dr. Auld. She was OBGYN before training with Dr. Weil out of Arizona. There number is 239-208-6676. The actual name is the Compassionate Cannabis Clinic out of Fort Myers Florida. Good luck. jm
I wish we didn’t have to buy our mm out the back of some dodgy car park looking out for the police! So unenlightened here in aus.
MM has come to Ohio. I am 12 years diagnosed and 59 years old. I've been smoking pot on and off since I was 19. The docs know nothing about MM - how much to take, what kind, which method. They are not there yet. My experiences with dispensaries in Denver and Ohio have been excellent because the staffs are well trained and highly knowledgeable - get to know them. If you happen to get a worker who is not helpful ask for more help. At the very least they should tell you what strain will help sleep and what strain helps pain. Edibles are great. Easy, clean. It's important to know there are three types of weed - Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid. In general Indica helps sleep, Sativa gets your creative juices flowing, and Hybrids are all over the place.
Well they do know about strains but I don't want to really get high I just want some help with sleep and something to help with my Tremors a little bit during the day I work full time they want to push the THC products and don't really seem to know a lot about the CBD products how to mix them how much to take and so on
Millions of people realize that smoking a joint has many benefits and then the guvament got involved to make money off of it. Vaping scares me though.
