I have had Hypothyroid symptoms for four and and half years, but my bloods are within reference ranges.
Just wanted to ask if anyone on the site has been diagnosed using the old TRH stimulation test, and if so how long ago this was, and if it was on the NHS or through a private endocrinologist?
Thanks Jonathan

Jonathan blood results within reference ranges does not mean that you are being optimally treated. Have you test results to share and are your vitamin levels in top third if their ranges. How does your ft4 level compare with your Ft3 level?
Thanks I have explored self treat, with success, and my vitimins are good, but I am currently not being treated.
I need to find a different way to get a diagnosis, because I have a secondary illness, which complicates self treatment that has previously worked well.
Only really interested to hear about comments / experiences of the TRH stimulation test, as a possible alternative way to be diagnossed.
