I'm on this I'm on 60mg , I have been for 3 years . I haven't experienced any side effects except for one time I had forgot to take it in the morning and by afternoon I was sweating loads , I took tablet and within approx 1hour I was feeling fine again . I was put on this by rheumatologist only other negative is our local chemist in west lothian Scotland has been having difficulty with supplier and often I only get part prescriptions at a time as there is several people in the area on this drug and chemist then has to share what she gets delivered out between several patients and the other chemist all beg borrow from each other to meet demand . How are you getting on with them ?

I am on 60mg daily and if I do forget, I feel quite ill! I am sure it does help along with pregabalin (lycra) which I also take. If I can function better than I did, I try not to let the side effects get to me too much. I do sweat a lot at times.

Hello. I'm on 60mg. It took me a couple of weeks, taking on alternate days, to get used to them, I felt spaced out and quite ill. After that I have been fine with them. I feel a bit sweaty but not sure if it's them or the hot weather!

Hi there, when I initially started taking duloxetine (30mg), I felt spaced out for a couple of weeks. I found it better to take them in the morning, if I take them at night they keep me awake. I've been on 60mg for about 10 weeks, no longer have any side effects.

I hope you find them helpful. Unfortunately as with most medication there are side effects and you usually experience these before the medication reaches a therapeutic level, which seems to take a couple of weeks.

Take care. Becky x

Hi, I am on 60 mg and have not felt this well in years, I was on 40mg at first which I took half in the morning and the other half after tea, but I could not sleep, so my doctor said that it was fine to take the full dose in the morning. Several months ago he increased the dose to 60mg,and I havn't looked back since. I have not had to take any extra pain relief, and my mood is so much better.Hope you do well on them.Cheers Joyce

Hi, I was prescribed 60mg 4 weeks ago and despite feeling nauseous to start with, i can tolerate them more than others that Ive tried. I am still alternating between taking in the evening and the morning because I have dreadful insomnia when I atke them in the evening but feel too lethargic if I take them in the morning. Otherwise though my pain and depression is definitely better. My advice is to keep at it.do let us know how you get on!

I take mine every morning as they are known to cause insomnia due the seratonin levels , and as I already have problems with insomnia / being awake at night with pain , my gp advised to take in the morning x ps I've private messaged you also sillygilly as we live relatively close .

I have found the morning is the best time to take it. I have enough problems not sleeping at night. This is provimg to be a very useful drug it holds me together and I feel more myself.
