Hello all, Well the reason I felt so terrible was because I ended up having Lyme disease.. I ended up seeing my family Dr. as I was starting to feel bad again. I was on antibiotics for 15 days and am doing well now. It got me behind my knee, so I didn't notice it at first. They are areal problem in our

Post Operative Aortic Valve replacement, single CABG. 2019. Week ago, TIA admission to A&E and ward for 24 hours. Support needed please?
Post Operative Aortic Valve and single CABG July 2019 . On July 28th 2021 I had TIA, out of the blue. Paramedics called, taken to A&E, all investigations carried out, then up to the stroke ward for 24 hours. Home but feeling really shocked, and anxious. Live on my own. Is there a support group for this

Is it possible to take a biopsy of a cardiac artery plaque in order to determine exactly what it contains?
Hi All I was found to have, via CT Angiogram, in July 16, a very high Calcium Agatston score of 1315. I then had CABG in Feb 17 at age 66. The day before I asked if it was possible to do a biopsy of a plaque, to help in identifying what they contained. They said it was not possible. Is this correct?

Asthma
I've had cabg heart op after heart attack back 21 years ago. Always since then I've had pain in left side of chest under ribs at bottom. I blamed it on the heart op. I've recently had lung function tests at hospital and apparently I have chronic childhood asthma! Is that causing all the pain and tight

HOW YOUR SKIN RESPONDS TO THE SUN CAN HELP DETERMINE YOUR RISK OF SKIN CANCER

Safe skin cancer treatment for PMR, advice please
Does anyone have any experience of Efudex cream for solar keratosis or skin cancer? I was prescribed it by a dermatologist but wonder if our thinner skin reacts more to it? I used it on a couple of small dark patches for about three weeks and it was quite alarming, just so relieved I didn’t slap it on

Hiya, I'm starting recovery week 7 after an elective triple bypass. Advised to sleep on back until sternum sorts itself out. Does anyone know when and how I can begin to rest on my side. Thanks

Rates of melanoma are rising faster than any other cancer in Britain. Why is that?
Rates of melanoma are rising faster than any other cancer in Britain. Why is that? Is it because there is still a genuine lack of awareness regarding the dangers of UV radiation and how to enjoy the sun safely? Is it because people still love to get a tan, despite the potential consequences? Is it
