I have been off work all week with severe pain in both sides of my pelvis shooting down (mainly in my left side whereas my pain is usually in my right), back pain, pain in my lung, chest pain, diarrhoea, nausea, pressure when I wee and going frequently. My Port keeps clogging.
My port has been clogging... they used that Activace (for TIAs) to unclog it... but read that can be risky. Should be saline or is heparin better?

Scary experience
This is a long one...but a cautionary story for anyone heat sensitive like me. š³ Wednesday I got up at the crack of dawn to pick up a friend and take her to her appointment for surgery at a local hospital. I hate getting up that early but her ride had cancelled. We got to the hospital around 6:00am

Sudden daily wetting during school
My 7 year old son has had problems with chronic constipation since the age of 2. He has been on movicol throughout that time and more recently supplemented with sodium picosulphate. He sits on the loo after breakfast and after dinner and at present is free of soiling accidents and does a poo most days

Frustration with IBS diagnosis - Could it be SIBO?
My story - In April-May 2018 I decided to go Vegan. I understood that the transition would cause some short term bloating - so I continued despite these experiences. I began experiencing extreme endless hunger, and was losing weight. My go-to-protein sources were oats, grains, and lots of whole food

Dry eyes- many causes & symptoms - light sensitivity
I have been learning about the function of tears and found that there are several layers that affect the lubrication of our eyes. There is an aqueous or water layer. But there are also a lipid, oil, layer that keeps the water from evaporating and a mucin layer that helps adhere the water to the eyes.

Normal flora
Hi, glad to join. I have asthma and bronchiectasis following a chemical accident with ammonia 11 years ago. Whenever I have a āchest infectionā my doctor sends off a sputum sample (before antibiotics started) but it always comes back as normal flora. My respiratory consultant says this is not a chest

"Yes, you really did say that"
I haven't been feeling well lately, so decided to go see the GP yesterday. I needed blood work for next weeks Rheumy appointment anyway, so off I went... My latest symptoms include; terrible groin pain, tired, slight headache, lethargic, bitchy mood, did I mention tired? Anyway, I received a text message

17 years with metastatic prostate cancer - operation 2 and a dance with Lu
Itās been around eleven months since my last post, so I thought Iād put together an update for those of you who are interested. Itās quite a long one. Apologies for that, but hopefully it will be of interest. Itās also helped me just to set it all out. A kind of therapy, if you will. So, after a few
