Urine test to see if I have a hormone resistance at a cellular level
Hello, Does anyone know a private company I can get a urine test done to see if I have hormone resistance at a cellular level please. Could this be done via a postal service? Also, are there people on here that could help me analyse those results? Thank you.

After seeing GP
Went to see GP this morning about swollen abdomen. Internal examination (yuk) arranging an ultra sound, urine sample given and bloods taken to test CA125. So at least he took me seriously after explaining other symptoms.

Constant burning on penis head.....
So I had unprotected oral sex (no other penetration) around 3-4 weeks ago and a day or two or later I had an intense burning on my penis head. Typical this would be when sitting or AFTER urination. It felt mostly like a friction thing. Anyway symptoms persisted and I noticed a minor mucous like discharge

Buying injectable B12 online
Hi, I recently realized that the source of many of my long list of health issues was due to a severe b12 deficiency. I’ve since been getting b12 shots (methylcobalamin) through my local naturopath. I’d like to have the option of injecting myself and was wondering if anyone has a specific site they

Low PSA with possible symptoms, would like help with next steps please
Hi all I have thought long and hard about posting here out of potential disrespect for those diagnosed, but I am at a loss to know what to do next, so here goes... In mid-October of 2017 I was dropping my daughter at school in the car. I parked the car, made sure it was safe to get out and as I turned

Hi everyone, my husband Ken completed his 3rd round of Chemotherapy Texotere🙌 Chemo 1 and 2 he did good, just with a little bit of nausea and fatigue but overall good. Hundreds of cysts & enlarged kidney
Hi, I'm new on here. I had an ultrasound around 4 years ago for a hiatus hernia. Sonographer was concerned as there were a 'number of cysts' on my left kidney. I went back to the consultant I was seeing re. hiatus hernia. He didn't seem too concerned, but said he'd refer me on to a nephrologists (I was

So upset & in pain - UTI
I posted about my potential UTI this weekend and have had some great replies. This morning things were no better so I dropped my urine sample at GPs surgery with a little note explaining my situation. My home test has showed slightly raised Leukocyytes and high specific gravity and then yesterday

Results from urine culture tested for UTI
Just obtained lab records on urine culture. Enterobacter cloacae complex >100,000 CFU/ML Gram Negative Rod Isolated. Problem started immediately after L5/S1 anterior back fusion done in 2015 with diarrhea. I just assumed due to spinal nerve damage. I have also had constant back pain, and arthritis getting

Mma Results. Creatine unsure?
My Results without ranges. They didn't have any. 24hr urine sample test. 1.6 g/l - methymalonic acid 0.93 g/l - creatine (low) 1.7 g/l - mma/creatine All it says is to speak to doctor about kidney function. Can anyone shed some light for me atleast while I'm away on holiday. I'm having B12 injections

AFIB - 32Yr Old
Fairly new on the site and figured I would tell my story as I found help from reading others. In about the month leading up to me going to the doctor and ultimately being told I had AFIB I had felt ectopic beats on and off but almost daily. Being a stubborn young male I never went to the doctor for it

Travel help (taking meds to US)
Hi, I’ve ducked in looking for advice regarding taking some medication to Florida (changing in Texas en route). My 10 yo has fairly severe CF, and as there’s no community on here just for that, I figured you lovely people on the BLF might be the best people to ask. Although I used to be a seasoned traveller

Shortness of breath better, but chest discomfort that feels like back pain
Hi guys, so recently I was having shortness of breath and chest pain for a while now. I eventually went to gp etc, got chest X-rays, blood tests, urine test etc (except for echocardiogram) and everything was fine. All docs said it was anxiety, so I accepted it. My breathing then got better, but I still

A year and a half of the same symptoms but no diagnosis!
Hi everyone, I've had several symptoms that started after a kidney infection in December 2016. The kidney infection itself came about after an untreated UTI which as well as cause burning during urination also caused a significant amount of burning and extra discomfort during my period. After the kidney

Maspin. (& Curcumin, Luteolin, etc.)
The name doesn't give much away - Maspin (mammary
serine
protease inhibitor). Maspin is considered to be a tumor suppressor gene. In PCa, its presence is associated with improved adhesion to the cellular matrix. Loss of Maspin is associated with motility & metastasis.

Finally a diagnosis....
I finally got in to see my kidney specialist, Did blood work and a urine sample, Creatinine level was 1.54 mg/dl down slightly from 1.62 mg/dl, He told me he checked my lab results back to 2006 and my Creatinine levels were at those same levels even back then. He said that he considered those levels
