Hot then cold
I am a 38 year old male and I have been a long sufferer from what I thought was hypohidrosis ( excessive sweating)but also have painfully cold feet and hands so now after searching the web I think I may have hypothyroidism? It's like my body cannot regulate it's temperature properly, it's either too hot

Feeling sorry for myself!
Since November I have had bronchitis, then urinary tract infection, I was waiting to ring GP tomorrow for result of last urine sample sent away so, I may restart Benepali & methotrexate. But since Saturday I have gastroenteritis! I'm also, which is no surprise, getting the old familiar aches & pains

Question about Nausea, and non-wafarin treatment options for APS
Kersten, Mary F, and aPNotSoFab and Luis- I had problems two weeks ago w/ bladder. ( painful cramping with urination- bladder itself- not urethra- not UTI) Went to Obgyn. Initial urine sample was ok- detailed culture send out also ok. I suspect micro clots somewhere as I am still sub therapeutic. This

Consultation with Rheumo
I have my first consultation on Wednesday to investigate possible Lupus or Mixed tissue disorder. I am expected to do a urine sample and bloods, but can anyone give me any advice on what to expect or prepare for the appointment? I am aware that I need to take a list of current prescribed medication,

Title Table Test
I had the TTT on Tuesday and I don't know what the official conclusion of the test was (Cardiac doc doesn't like to label) but this is what he said. "The results show your condition (I'm guessing he meant PD) but you are maintaining a decent BP so I don't see any need to change any of your medication

unable to stop crying, unhelpful ENT consultants, need some hope /advice
I have various problems with asthma, no smell, sore bones and food intolerances all of which I have been coping with for several years now and last year was given levothyroxine as my TSH had gradually gone up to 9.55 over the year. The net had indicated that treatment for thyroid would help and I persuaded

Travel nebuliser recommendations
Okay, next question- does anyone have a travel nebuliser that they are happy with and would recommend? (for 6 year old, saline only at this point).

Saline nebuliser
Hi, I've recently been issued a nebuliser and told to do saline nebuliser once a day when my daughter is ill. My question is, is there such a thing as too much, since it's just salty air? (and she was assessed and issued this). She knows she gets to watch the telly while she does it, so she's asking

Safe Nasal Decongestant
What nasal decongestants are safe to use for someone who has had AF? I am currently not taking anything except warfarin and prophylaxis with magnesium citrate, so interactions with AF meds are not the problem. I need to clear out my sinuses. I do not think they are infected. I have tried isotonic saline

What it feels like to have health anxiety at 16 years old
You wake up one morning a late night because you couldn't get to sleep for some reason , even though you were tired , just at the last second when you're about to doze off you shoot up awake and realize your heart is racing. The next day you can't get your mind off of it and you feel heavy like there's

Blood test results
Hi All just had these results back. I am in England. Gp wrote these down for me. The first figures are my readings. I am feeling very tired and achy and breathless when climbing stairs etc. Any thoughts? Gp says low readings could be diet related or absorption problems...had gall bladder out last year
