Good evening all.

My GP appointment left me with more questions.

It appears that I have postural hypotension (hence the collapse) but not sure why.

In order to rule out urinary infection a urine test was carried out which revealed the presence of blood.

This result was backed up the next day by microbiology.

So, now we have postural hypotension and microscopic haematuria.

My next stop will be an urgent appointment with a urologist.

The fun never stops!

Postural hypotension can have many causes from simple dehydration to medications. In some there is no reason for it. The blood in your urine can be worrying but it could be related to your fall or simply due to strain whilst moving when you are in pain.

I hope you get answers as to what is causing the postural hypotension. I have the same thing but I have had it back into childhood. Getting up things would go black. I only fell once do to it..or lost consciousness once but regained it when I hit the floor. That was in 98 I was getting up from the computer in the bedroom. In the 90’s every time they checked my urine it always had blood cells in it. Usually a dose of antibiotics was given. It stopped after ...🤔...well I think after the divorce in 01. So intimacy I think was the cause or played a factor in that blood in the urine. I hope you find out the causes of yours.
