Ugh, ugh, and UGH!
I’m tired of having to write these negative posts. As some of you may know I’ve been to the ER 3 times since July. I’ve had 2 chest X-rays, 2ekgs, 2 blood work done, and 3 urine tests from all 3 of my hospital visit. I think the last time I went to the hospital was in September. Everything was perfectly

Struggling after the death of a psychiatrist
I'm here to find help and support for my adult daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD in high school about 10 years ago. She saw her psychiatrist for four, maybe five years, once a month and he prescribed Vyvanse and Adderall. This past summer he died unexpectedly. She did not get her records from him

Combined ascorbic acid and T3 produce better healing compared to bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in an Achilles tendon injury rat model
Even orthopaedic specialists seem to be getting to understand and appreciate T3 better than endocrinologists! Of course, the opposite might be just as important a lesson. Inadequate T3 (and, let us assume, ascorbic acid) is likely to impair healing of tendons. [i]J Orthop Surg Res. 2019; 14: 54

Could it be anything else....
Hi All, I had a bowl infection when I was 19. This has left me with issues since then, I’m now 41. I’ve had lower abdominal pain and back pain on and off for 6 years. About 16 months ago I got diagnosed with IBS. I’ve had blood tests for PSA reading, physical exam of prostate, blood, stool and urine

First visit with nephrologist
So today I had my first visit with the nephrologist. Before I get to that here is what has been going on. My regular doctor referred me because my routine labs showed 44. Now my previous doctor just told me to drink more water and that was it. Well doctor #2 said to drink water and recheck in 2 weeks

Update
Good evening all. My GP appointment left me with more questions. It appears that I have postural hypotension (hence the collapse) but not sure why. In order to rule out urinary infection a urine test was carried out which revealed the presence of blood. This result was backed up the next day by microbiology

Hi am new to this group, hello. I am a 62 year old lady. Who for a few years has been losing energy. i.e. struggling more to go upstairs and exert myself. More so than the usual 62 year old. Then a few weeks ago it became much, much worse, where it was almost impossible to get upstairs to bed, wash

Gastroenterologist
I had an appointment with a gastroenterologist yesterday who didnt say much but listened attentively as i listed off symptoms. He took lots of notes as I spoke. I have some bowel issues which my gp thought might be an indication of malabsorption. These may or may not be connected to the b12 deficiency

Behcet's and sinus problems
This is my first post here... I was curious if anyone else with Behcet's has had sinus issues? I was diagnosed with Behcet's this past spring, though I've been showing signs since I was 21 (27 now). I am taking colchicine now to help with symptoms. When I was 16, I had surgery to correct a deviated

I have been off work all week with severe pain in both sides of my pelvis shooting down (mainly in my left side whereas my pain is usually in my right), back pain, pain in my lung, chest pain, diarrhoea, nausea, pressure when I wee and going frequently. I went to the docs on Monday and they were convinced
