When to have abortion/Go Private?
My last period was on the 20th of November and I last had sex around the start of December. If I want an abortion before my exams in January, say first few weeks of January, will this be possible as I might only be 5 weeks? If I have it does privately, will this mean it will be easier/quicker to get

Abortion reasons
My period is late and I am worried that I am pregnant. I plan on taking a pregnancy test soon, but I have been doing research into abortions. In the UK the law is that you can only get one if two doctors agree that a pregnancy affects your mental or physical health. So does this mean I couldn't have

Infected Laparoscopy Incision Scar??
Hey Everyone. I had a laparoscopy in April which diagnosed me with Endo. I had the Helica treatment and healed fine. But this weekend my scar in my belly button incision is extremely sore and there is pus and blood coming out. I don't know if its possible for a scar to get infected. I'm so confused.

Possible pre- eclampsia
Hi there, I'm 13 weeks pregnant I've just started back at work as a health care assistant. I've noticed when I got home tonight my right foot has swollen I have never in my job before had this problem. I've read on some sites that it could be pre- eclampsia.

New Lupus Sufferer
Hi I have just been diagnosed with DLE lupus. I have horrible red scars, one on top of my forehead and three on side of my face. I hate them. Lucky I can cover them up and use a brilliant natural concealer called Jane Iredale. I have been using Elocon cream for a week now but haven't noticed much

Cicumcision Scars - What do they look like through the healing process?
I had a cicumcision three weeks ago to address problems with tightening foreskin and failed frenuloplasty. I wasn't particularly happy with the slightly unusual procedure my doctor elected to do but I am more or less over that assuming that it heals okay. The incisions are now beginning to heal, and

I'm new here. Pectus Excavatum issue
Hi I had a pectus excavatum operation 22 years ago and have suffered from chronic pain ever since. Is there anyone else out there who has suffered this long from the same type of operation. I am now struggling to work because of the chronic pain and have been on long term sick and will probably be dismissed

Message in a bottle campaign
As requested in another post I'm putting this separately for more people to see. My local GP and pharmacy stock the message in a bottle system promoted by the Lions. It gives you a pill type container that has all your relevant contact details, medical information, medication, a note of where this is

Alternatives to WP Thyroid tablets please?
I have these tablets, but cannot stand the smell of them in the container, or when I go to take them. They smell like old fish to me! Has anyone else noticed or experienced this? I could revert to Armour (I wasn't aware they smelt like this but would like confirmation from anyone who has a bottle
