Surgery is complete and I am doing very well. Everyone on my surgery team was incredible. The anesthesiologist kept me mostly awake as I asked and my dear friends (former co-workers) took great care of me throughout. Now it's on to healing. The doctor is making me take off 2 weeks of work. Guess I won't

Massage for Epidural Fibrosis?
I've heard a lot about deep massage to get rid of adhesions and scar tissue. I had a partial discectomy two years ago and have had chronic pain after two months of being relative pain-free. Has anyone had positive experience with this or any other non-surgical procedure to get rid of scar tissue? Thanks

Looking into laser ablation for benign thyroid nodule
I have a large benign thyroid nodule and would prefer laser ablation to having half my thyroid surgically removed. But at the moment nobody does this procedure. Probably because NICE only approved it this July.

Implant removal
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me their experiences of having their implant removed? I'm getting mine removed soon as I literally bleed everyday because of it. Would be nice to know how long healing takes and the pain etc.

Possible pregnancy after ovaries extraction
Hi, girls. I decided to write her because I need your help. My story started four years ago when my gyny found a large cyst on my left ovary and a small one on the right one. Before this I had an abortion, and my doctor thinks it wasn’t done well. I experienced a surgery to extract the cysts and took

Abortion or Keep?!
I'm a single mum of two, split with their dad a couple years ago. We have a good relationship and my daughters are settled. I've been back at work for a year now, finally getting my life on track and I've found out I'm pregnant. Been seeing a guy on and off for 10months, and we both agreed we couldn't

Scar tissue issues?
Morning all. A silly question but I have quite a lot of abdominal scar tissue following a difficult total abdominal hysterectomy four years ago. Due to have my gallbladder out in four weeks so am wondering if that will affect my chances of having the op key hole? This is such a minor problem compared

Dermatology Appointment Update
Hello everyone I had my long-awaited Dermatology Appointment yesterday which had to be the shortest consultation I've ever had!. It was good news that I don't have skin cancer but I was given a diagnosis of Bowens Disease which is a pre-cursor to it. The lesion I have is coming off in November, not sure
