Infected Laparoscopy Incision Scar??

Hey Everyone.

I had a laparoscopy in April which diagnosed me with Endo. I had the Helica treatment and healed fine. But this weekend my scar in my belly button incision is extremely sore and there is pus and blood coming out. I don't know if its possible for a scar to get infected. I'm so confused. Has anybody else had this experience? I'm scared :( xx

Hi yes it is possible for a scar to become infected. When i had a laparoscopy by belly button scar also became infected ☹️I think its because the bacteria builds easily there. I would suggest going to your local walk in center to get some antibiotic cream which will get rid of the infection 😀.

Thank you for your reply. I'll see what the Dr says :(

Since it was in April it would've healed already and infection would've shown up much sooner. I would be more worried about endometriosis that has grown right on or under your belly button.
