Frightened and wanting advice
I developed a lump a few years after my children were born on my episiotomy scar which grew bigger when I was on my period. I had never heard of endometriosis so wasn't sure what it was and after backwards and forwards to drs I had the lump removed and was told it was endometriosis. I googled but can

Apology
Most of the folks on this forum have a wonderful, empathetic spirit that is quite comforting and makes me wish I could say things in such a way. Forgive me for being such a 'redneck' and blunt, and sometimes sarcastic person in words. I try to remember that sarcasm is like sulfuric acid to relationships

B12 Serum Tests
I've had 5 negative B12 serum blood tests, all negative over several years when I suffered and continue to suffer the symptoms of PAS. I am aware of these serum tests being unreliable, & persistent symptoms should be doubled checked with the modern Schilling test or Methylmalonic Acid or MMA Test. Anyone

Vaginal stitches! Healing times...
I had a lap 1 week ago to remove a large endometrioma. Apparently the endo was a lot more extensive than thought, and took 3 hours to remove it all, including an ovary and both tubes (he’s left a full depth bowel nodule which might be another operation at some point, yikes). There was a full depth nodule

Potassium iodide pre surgery
So I have my op on Friday for TT. The hospital in London called me to ask if I could go to my doc to get a prescription for potassium iodide. I live in Somerset and my pharmacy can’t get hold of it. I’m told it helps with excessive blood flow during surgery. It makes me slightly nervous that this is

Advice needed please - Retrognathia and jaw surgery
I'm looking for advice please. I'm 37 with Juvenile Arthritis and I need both of my jaw joints replaced. Has anyone else here had this surgery please and can you give me any advice? How long do they last? I've also been diagnosed recently with retrognathia even though its a problem I've had for years

How much relief after excision Lap??
Hi everyone, I have had a second Laparoscopy yesterday. I had a diagnostic Lap and diaphthermy this time last year. This time I had a lot more endo, scar tissue and adhesions which was removed without damaging anything (which is a big positive) I’m just really sore and concerned about how much more I

Laparoscopy bowel attached
Hi there, Yesterday I had my first laparoscopy and they found no endometriosis which is great news. They did say they found my bowel was quite "full" and that it had attached to my abdominal wall. They said it explains the pain I've been having but don't know why it's happened as it's usually caused

Is hydroxychloroquine working?
Hello, I've been on hydroxychloroquine for almost 6 months for urticarial vasculitis, although on a full dose of 400mg/day for only about 3 1/2 months, and I have yet to feel any improvement. I saw my rheumy last month and he seemed to be hopeful that it was working and I should continue but I am more

Laparoscopy and Laparotomy
Only 2 days to go until I go in for my diagnostic lap. They are treating any Endo at the same time. Reading through the consent form I have signed for. Laparoscopy and Laparotomy. I have no idea what the difference is. Also I signed to have the marina coil fitted, but after reading the reviews I'm going

CBD oil
Has anyone got any comments to make regarding CBD oil, in relation to my wife's cirrhosis liver, The reason I ask I have seen an advert on ITV for CBD oil, I have taken the plunge and ordered a dropper bottle, which I chose the 400mg strength in summer berries flavour. I have been taking two drops

Quick q- what vitamin E dose do people take with 200mcgselenium ?
Hi all I’ve been previously taking 400 iu of Vit E )natural source ) thats 268mg and over 2000% of RDA! As I am now pregnant I don’t want to be overdoing it although I haven’t had issues in the past. I know Vit E is far soluble and can be toxic in high amounts I’m not sure if just normal 100% rDa is

Secondary endo caused by c-section
I am new to this forum but am struggling to find anyone else in my position. I have rare 'secondary endo' which was caused by my c-section (where the surgeon accidentally moved cells from my womb). I now have a huge lump near my c-section scar. The surgeon wants to remove the lump. I think he is an endo
