Hi there Was wondering how long do you stay at the hospital after having baby by c-section? Have been told 1 day and this is a bit too quick I think it’s scarring

hi - i am Dianne - had an oesophagectomyin January 2018 - went swimmingly well according to the surgeon - recovery all seemed good apart from what I thought was initial problems with the jejunostomy tube. From a few days in it leaked and attachment of tube to my side was not perfect or so it seemed

Update on where I am.
So here is my latest. I do not have Angioid streaks. I get shots now every 6 weeks. They tried going longer. I think once I made it to about 9 weeks ut had another hemorrhage so at that point the go into shortest protocol. which is 4 weeks. When they stabilize that one we start getting a bit further apart

Stem Cell Treatment
A little while ago I mentioned that liver transplants could one day become a thing of the past. Day by day the use stem cell treatment and research brings us closer to finding a cure for liver disease. HIV positive man in London becomes second person ever to be cleared of virus after stem cell transplant

Dent in Skin Graft on Nose
Hi, Can anyone suggest any camouflage ideas as I had MOHS/Plastic surgery on my poor nose for skin cancer and now can see a huge dent! I know that I have to wait a year to see if the plastic surgeon can amend/add fillers, but, in the meantime would love to hide it as best I can (it's in the worse place

What to do... VBAC or C-section?
With my first baby in 2017, I had an induction due to PROM at term but didn't go into labour... I got to 5cm and ended up with a cat 2 emergency c section (GA) due to maternal sepsis and fetal distress. It was horrendous, I was in 8 nights, me and baby on antibiotics, 2 blood transfusions, 3 catheters

Looking for individuals who are experiencing scar arrhythmia from open heart surgery ,
I have scarring in my right atrium after 2 open heart surgeries many years ago this has caused me to have re-entrant tachycardia. I was wondering if anyone shares a similar story?

Portal vein wedge pressure test
Just updating. Grank has an appointment next Monday for a portal vein wedge pressure test at QEHB to see whether he is suitable for either Plan A which is a resection, or Plan B which is TACE. He was given his grim diagnosis January 3rd, and it’s been a long wait, but he looks and feels well and we are

C-Section & Bupa coverage
Hello, Apologies - this is a long post, attempting to explain my issue 😰: It looks like I will have to have a C-section delivery for medical reasons - which I’m gutted about 😳 It’s my first pregnancy and so far nothing has gone even remotely how I had imagined it... 🤷🏼♀️ The policy at my busy

Placenta previa.
Hello. So at my 20wk scan they discovered my placenta was fully covering my cervix. The sonographer told me that it's fine it'll just mean a c-section.... OK.... They booked me in for a scan at 34wks to see if it had moved and a consultation (which seems pointless now as I've been told it won't move)

First Ozurdex implant!
Had my first Ozurdex implant yesterday! The procedure was absolutely fine don't know what I was worried about! Didn't feel anything apart from abit of pressure here and there :) Once I'd got home and the anesthetic had worn off it was quite sore, my eye swelled up alot and was very blurry. Took some

More women with Breast Implant Illness
As breast implants affect the endocrine system I am horrified at the number of women whom are suffering with this illness. At the moment the Breast Implant Illness and Healing Support Group has over 1700 women and this number is increasing on a daily basis. Also, after listening to a Dr whom is researching

Apology
Most of the folks on this forum have a wonderful, empathetic spirit that is quite comforting and makes me wish I could say things in such a way. Forgive me for being such a 'redneck' and blunt, and sometimes sarcastic person in words. I try to remember that sarcasm is like sulfuric acid to relationships

B12 Serum Tests
I've had 5 negative B12 serum blood tests, all negative over several years when I suffered and continue to suffer the symptoms of PAS. I am aware of these serum tests being unreliable, & persistent symptoms should be doubled checked with the modern Schilling test or Methylmalonic Acid or MMA Test. Anyone
