Six-Pack Challenge? Any experiences?

Having just reached again continuous running of 5k again after an IC break, I’m all keen to keep on going towards 10k.

I’ve been salivating about this Sixpack Challenge series ( sixpack-challenge.co.uk/six... ) ever since it launched a few years ago.

They have 6 routes in one region at a time (accumulating to a marathon distance, I think), including run-go audio guidance and maps. The routes are diverse, ranging from 5-10k, and include park routes, some hilly ones and some flat ones.

The locations are enticing, and I think the price is really reasonable for getting curated beautiful routes, maps, audio-guidance and a medal.

We are even thinking of wrapping a 2 week holiday around a series (6 routes/runs in one region).

The signup season is about to start next month, so just wondered if any of you have done one of these and how they have found them?

oooh ta for that 🙂👍

I had a look at the choices and there’s one local to me. I used to work at one of the locations featured. Mouthwatering prospect 😀 I know venturing farther afield for a running holiday is grand, but with choices all over the place it keeps the costs down.

Have you made a choice yet ? 😀

The closest ones to me are the Stoke set. So the moment it becomes available, I'll probably buy one, because I cannot wait to try these!

The company have done some taster routes on RunGo, one from the Stoke Set, so I’ll be trying out a route this Easter!

I am so excited about that! It just looks so good to have a set of curated routes going from 5 to 10k, fitting into my 10k training as well!
