Here's hoping .....
Just got in from walking the dogs and the other half has made me a lovely bacon sandwich so eating that while typing this. Another beautiful day, still very cold (actually freezing is a better word) but dry and wonderfully bright. Clouds I saw this morning had a pink not silver lining and if I've managed

TODAY WAS
Now that I have recovered slightly from the migraine it has made me even more determined to
quit
because although I wouldn’t tell my doctor, I think that
smoking
does not in any way, shape or form, help me at all and yes folks, you have guessed correctly in that I have or should that be had, some cigarettes

WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE .....
For those of us who want to
quit
we have one goal in common – to stop
smoking
. For an alcoholic, their aim is to not drink. For overeaters, it is to moderate to a responsible level their food intake.

Advice please
I have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and know now that I have to stop smoking before treatment starts. My problem is that my husband smokes and I find it very difficult not to have a cig with him even though I do not enjoy them now. Has anyone been in the same position, how did you cope. thank

Starting Again
The
smoking
had to go. The NHS
quit
plan really helped & I have been smoke & nicotine free for 6 months now. Combined with deep breathing exercises means I no longer have a wheeze or cough.

Before you reach your quit date, try to understand what part of smoking actually satisfies you....
Only you are able to recognise and answer any of the above for yourself then you can work on the next step of moving towards your
quit
date. The key to successfully stop
smoking
and staying stopped, is all in the thinking, planning and preparing beforehand.
