Hello everyone
The problems really started when I
quit
smoking
7.5 weeks ago and I'm still using NRT (gum). I spent years going from
smoking
to vaping back and forth. My previous
quit
attempt about 7 months ago and I made it 5 weeks. All my anxiety symptoms just showed up this week, but these feel different.

Quite worried there's something seriously wrong.
I have of course
quit
smoking
now. Just very scared about what this may be because a lot of the causes of this symptoms seem to diminish life span substantially. Medical history: GORD Hiatus hernia Collapsed lung three years ago. No known cause for that.

What was the easiest way for you to
quit
smoking
? I keep reading life expectancy is 10 to 20 years after diagnosis? How long will it take to get worse will I be dead before I’m 40 ?

Decided to quit smoking...
Like the title says. It was spur of the moment. I went to a hypnotist two days ago. I think it kind of worked. The cravings are unbelievable, though. I am using my vape pen as a crutch when it gets really bad. I tried twice to have an actual cigarette, but put it out in shame after a few drags

18 year old struggling with ectopics (PVC’s) daily
I also have
quit
smoking
for months in the past and still had this problem. Hi, this is my first time being here and posting here. In the past 3 years, I’ve gradually gotten more and more ectopic beats daily and it’s ruining my life.

how long does insomnia last?
I am making a final attempt to
quit
smoking
for good. I am on Day 8. Cravings have subsided but mental/habit need is still pretty strong. I tell myself daily NOPE (not one puff ever). I often ask myself what would a non-smoker do now. Keep taking it one day at a time for now.

Should I get an ablation or use pip?
I've
quit
smoking
, which has helped my blood pressure and reduced spikes in my heart rate. But at times, I feel anxiety around being able to go out and enjoy life because something might trigger an episode.

Medication side affects after NSTEMI
I
quit
smoking
, improved my diet somewhat and changed jobs from something rather sedate to cycling 3 miles each way and gardening all day. Certainly fit enough for the DVLA cardiologist examination.

Quit smoking 5 fags a day for 14 years and asthma has kicked off..
Hi peeps,I'm new to this forum 👋. Never really struggled with asthma since I was a teenager 20 years ago. At the age of 21, I started smoking roll ups. Never had asthmatic cough during the 14 years of smoking. Reason I gave up was because I took up vaping & preferred the taste of that to fags. But then
