how long does insomnia last?

I am making a final attempt to quit smoking for good. I am on Day 8. Cravings have subsided but mental/habit need is still pretty strong. I tell myself daily NOPE (not one puff ever). I often ask myself what would a non-smoker do now. Keep taking it one day at a time for now.

Hi Rosebud you are right 1 day at a time it's been over 23 years since my hubby & I quit, find or get you a hobby that occupies your mind & hands. I crocheted an afghan & chopped on gum. Even built a doll house in my mind! I will be praying for you. Mary
