What's your
PSA
? 3. What's your estradiol? 4. What's your testosterone? 5. What's your DHT (if you measure it)? 6. How long have you been using estrogen? And, anything else you'd like to share. I will analyze all of the data and present a report. Thanks very much! Bob

PSA Rising and MRI Negative
My husband
PSA
has been rising after Prostatectomy. A recent PET Scan showed cancer cells in the Prostate bed, but the MRI didn't pick-up any disease. The Oncologist is checking labs, and will start my husband on HT.Question for the group.

6 months after MRI Guided SBRT at MSK
My
PSA
was .33 (down from a peak of 7.5) and testosterone was 513. The Doctor was very pleased with these results. Per Dr. McBride, since I still have a prostate, a low (but not undetectable) level of
PSA
is common and acceptable at this stage.

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
I realize everyone is different but wondering in particular about side effects and how quickly
PSA
comes down of one vs. the other -- and anything else we should be considering. My husband had a very hard time with ADT side effects after chemo.

Reference Library of Papers about Dutasteride for Treating Prostate Cancer
In one study, Dutasteride monotherapy reduces
PSA
by 50%, reduces prostate volume by 25%, and reduces tumor volume by 30%, after 6 months of treatment, compared to placebo (Moore, 2017).

MOST RECENT PSA and TESTOSTERONE TEST
My
PSA
and testosterone test results have been
PSA
.01 and T 11 since July of 2022. I had my quarterly test done yesterday and my
PSA
is at .02 and T is at 21.5. They are still undetectable, but not sure what caused the rise.

My PSA tripled in 8 months
My
PSA
went down to 0.005 from May to November. Yesterday I had my blood test again and the report indicated my
PSA
has jumped to 0.159. I am panic. Can you explain what does that mean and anything I should do? Also I wonder if I can take any Zinc ?

PSA test at a different lab
I have always had my
PSA
tested in Boston at the same medical facility for the last 7 years. In a perfect world I would travel back to Boston for a few day. Any feedback would be appreciated Thanks

Next steps after PBRT
Currently I’m undetectable as far as
PSA
goes. Jan 2024 will be 1 year since my last PSMA Pet. I’ve asked my doctor at Memorial Sloan Kettering for another scan this January, and he is pushing back stating it’s unnecessary.
