I have two thoughts. You could order some from a Canadian or US pharmacy (estrogel.com). Estrogel.com has a MD on their staff who will write a prescription over the phone. It's worth a try. That's where Prof. Wassersug (in Canada) has been getting his estrogen gel for over 20 year (he prefers the gel over the patches). His HealthUnlocked name is "Wassersug".
Or, find a compounding pharmacy in the UK. Ask the pharmacist for names(s) of doctors that prescribe compounded hormones (estrogen, testosterone) and contact them. Likely they will have an alternative perspective on health care and will prescribe E2 gel or patches.
The phase-III PATCH trial in the UK will be published this Fall, if you can wait that long. I predict there will be a major change in doctor's practices after this report is published.
