Health Anxiety
I had an elevated
PSA
in September - not past the limit usually set, but higher and my Dr's said they wanted to check further. I'm waiting for my 3rd blood test (a much more detailed one that the Dr. thought appropriate) and it's been 5 days. It's driving me nuts.

Discontinue all antioxidant supplements on early signs of biochemical recurrence?
The latest literature appears to indicate a
PSA
as low as 0.03, regardless of the multi-result dynamics is a reliable very early confirmation of biochemical recurrence.

The past couple of oncology reviews have seen my
PSA
rising though the oncologist isn’t concerned. A bit of a quandary.

He also said that I am currently Low volume, low

Oligmatistic. Can someone translate. I had a PSMA scan a couple of weeks ago and the Radiation Oncologist said that I had a positive response. Thanks in advance.

Just had Psma-pet scan... Confused
Understandably, my
PSA
at the time was 480. After 1 year on ADT and 8 months of Xtandi another Axium showed mets in calvarial region (skull), neck and clavicle no longer present...
PSA
plummeted down to current and holding at around 2.

PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a
PSA
rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current
PSA
level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere.

Surgery vs SBRT Cyberknife
PSA
3.7-4.2. Met with Surgeon first, "slow growing, non aggressive" he believes is contained by looking at margins and pathology. Met with Radiology Oncologist, "favorable intermediate risk, non aggressive" he believes it is contained.

My treatment decisions
I also had been checking my
PSA
for years because of this. I couldn’t reconcile having been checking all these years to catch it early only to wait on active surveillance. I then chose to have a genetic test (Decipher) done. It came back a .76 (high risk).

Is there hope despite the pain? Is Cabometyx worth it?
LD has a
PSA
of over 1300 at last count and bone mets/fatigue/anemia that keep him in bed most days. He gets transfusions every 3-4 weeks to help with the anemia. It seems like we've tried everything. Pluvicto wasn't the miracle we were hoping for.

Experiances with Kaiser SF?
I'm 74, the
psa

clinical trails for metastatic castrate resistant pc
Can switching hormone therapy- (currently taking oorgovix and zytiga) possibly bring
PSA
down again? Any promising clinical trials we should ask about? Thoughts on provenge? Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

Recently diagnosed and trying to work out what to do! All advice gratefully received.
I have a
psa
of 7.7. Gleason Score 3+4 = 7 one in 10 cores with a 2.5mm tumour length whoich is 20% of the core involved. 30% of cores showed cribreform pattern 4 glands. Area of concern on MRIs consistent on both MRIs and is where the positive biopsy was taken.

ADT + darolutamide + docetaxel (ARASENS trial) has anyone tried it?
After less than one month of regrouping and ADT only (decapeptyl - triptotrelin, which got my
PSA
from 70 to 15), my MO decided to do the ARASENS trial triplet (with my full approval, I was going to propose him this protocol). Has anyone tried it? Any suggestion?
