So tired
I’m 39 years old. I’m happily married with 2 beautiful children. My son is 12, has sensory integration disorder, ADHD and autism, but high functioning. My daughter is 5, has sensory integration disorder, is delayed because of difficulties processing language and retaining information. She’s too young

Probably insane ramblings first post
Hi everyone, I’m a 40-year-old female. Since I was 28 I have been on 5 to 6 different antidepressants. I have gone to psychotherapy, psychiatrists, self medicated and I’m at the point now where I feel like nothing will work. When I read about depression symptoms, I often see “ loss of interest in hobbies

Efexor to Pristiq
Pumpkin, the doctor switched me to Pristiq about five years ago. The transition was great. He gradually moved be over. He lowered Efexor gradually and started me on Pristiq. I had no problems at all. I do know from experience that skipping doses of Pristiq will cause brain shivers. This occurrence

Effexor to pristiq switch
Has anyone switched from effexor to pristiq? I've been on such a long journey to feel relief from constant anxiety and so far nothing works. I was recently on 175mg effexor and my Dr switched me to 50mg pristiq. She had me just completely switch, no weaning. I've taken it for about 4 days now. I suddenly

Good news, painfree at last almost..
Hi, my conditions came on quickly and lasted a year. I used Celebrex to control the pain so I could get to the gym. 2 weeks of weight training did very little although I did get stronger. It was when I started aerobic exercise (running on a treadmill and swimming) that I saw a difference. After 4 weeks

New here.
I’ve been having a super rough time lately. I was diagnosed with depression about 6 to 7 years ago. Then in the past going on 2 years I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and bipolar disorder. I have a really hard time opening up, and talking to people about how my head feels simply because it just feels

I have just been diagnosed with Pyoderma Gangranosum which has given me leg ulcers on my ankle. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this?
I have had APS for around 45 years and been diagnosed for around 35 years. I have had a number of clots, DVTs and TIAs also haemolytic Anaemia amongst other odd things. Recently I have had Atrial Fibrillation and the Pyoderma Gangranosum.

Posting on behalf of my boyfriend
My boyfriend needs some support and was hoping there might be other people from the USA who use this website.. This is his post: So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask for some help. I live in Georgia and was wondering if anyone knew who I should contact about getting myself back on my depression

Can Stimulants (adhd) mask hypothyroidism?
I am on a drug known as Elvanse for ADHD. It is amphetamine based. Could it cause my TSH levels to appear lower than they actually are. TSH is 2.7.

Feelin' down about my current life and future. 😔
Today was an alright day until I decided to go on Wattpad and start reading stories. The main character in the book reminded me of myself, in the way that I never feel good enough. I deal with anxiety on a daily basis but my depressed thoughts only really happen when they get triggered. So when the thoughts

Does the Vitality anxiety jewelry work?
I had an ad pop up on this jewelry called vitality which specializes in jewelry that eased anxiety. Some was stones which Had calming powers and others were beads that absorbed essential oils. It sounds perfect to me. A discrete way to cope with anxiety? But I’m also wondering if it’s a scam. Has anyone

Shortness of breath
I had a Cardiac Ablation for AFib seven weeks ago. I am still experiencing shortness OB breath that has not improved. I have discussed this with my cardiologist and he says it will get better. I returned to work two weeks after the ablation and I am having a very hard time working because of the shortness

Risks of Adding New Meds?
I'm on two different medications right now--Bupropian and Lamotrigine. I've been on them two years. Until a few months ago they worked great and Bupropian was a game changer, but now I feel like it's just not working anymore. I talked to my psychiatrist about it and he wants to add Effexor to my daily
